I was deleting some old torrents and so Vista moved them to the recycling bin.In my sleep deprived state I took a grave mistake in deleting the actual recycling bin.Do any of you know how to fix this? Will I ever be able to delete again?

No, you are forever doomed to everything that is on your computer hahaha.

Seriously, how did you manage that?

I've heard tales of people who've done that. Its... like eating yourself.
Search for it.

Nope, you will have to wipe your Hard Drive every time you want to delete something, then re-install Vista and all of your programs and games afterwards.

But really, I dont think you can actually delete recycle bin. Its a part of Windows. It's probably just tucked away someplace, ask google where.

You didn't delete it. You recycled it.

Go take it out of the recycle bin. (Hint: My computer)

I think I did that once (or twice), make sure you didn't just delete the short-cut, because there should be a copy of it in your hard drive, and I found mine after a sweep through my C: files. This all depending on your version of Windows, of course.

If you DID genuinely delete it, you usually have to reload windows to get it back.

I...uh...

I think that's how you can make an internet bomb.

Have it delete unto itself.

It'll keep deleting and deleting INTO itself that'll grow at an exponential rate and then some one will shout "SOME ONE HAS SET US UP THE BOMB!" and everyone dies. Horrible.

Man I've always wondered what would happen if you did such a thing, good luck with that man.

Or, instead of pressing Delete, maybe try it together with a little button called Shift?

That deletes it, and it deletes it for good, it doesn't send it to fucking...recycle bin.

I honestly haven't used the recycling bin for years, and it's empty.

Or, take away a lesson from this experience and teach the rest of us how to delete the great Recycling Bin of life: Death. <3
