I will have to admit I was. So one of my guy friends found out about it and rolled her house and left manure all over it.

I started homeschooling in Grade 7 because I was ready to snap. I never went back into "public" education until college.

Nothing says "betrayal" like a chuck of ice thrown into your balls by your best friend.

So... yeah. Bullied.
I had friends like that in intermediate school. Glad I made some better ones in high school.

Yep, because I'm short

In year 8 I was bullied for most of the year.
But it turned out OK because the ring leader of the bullies moved so the other bullies were lost and fell down the social chain.

Another kid who was bullied by them became friends with me and he became pretty ripped. No one can mess we me because of him. We don't do anything to antagonise but its security

Quite a bit during my early to mid teen years.
Mainly because the group I hung out with played video games and yu-gi-oh, and as one girl put it "didn't like things normal boys like, like football (aka soccer)"

Yu-gi-oh was met with jeers of "Hahaha you like playing with bits of cardboard!?" to which we responded with "Yeah..and what do you do in your spare time?"

Turns out the two main "bullies" enjoyed stealing boxes of crisps from local football games, setting trees on fire, and destroying peoples gardens.

What can I say, I guess not everyone enjoys the same things.

I was never bullied in fact I was quite popular in school for no apparent reason. I swear at the beginning of the term no one in my class would know me but at the end I was the most popular kid in the class without doing anything, I still don't understand why it happened.
Me too! Its like the harder you try to avoid people the more they like you. Sit in the back of the class looking wholly uninterested in people and they come to love you, people are strange.

Oh yeah, ever since about the 5th grade on it wasn't pleasant.

I had stuff constantly stolen from me and picked on like there was no tomorrow.

Despite the fact that my high school had a 'zero tolerance' for that it still happened, but in parking lots and openly during lunch. Funny that.
My high school was the same way. Except our "zero tolerance" meant if any saw you bullying a freshman, or a kid from special ed, you were going to have the shit kicked out of you for the rest of the school year by every able bodied student in the school.

Hell one kid had to transfer schools cause he beat one of the special ed students up on his first day. He lost three teeth before he left.

Yep

Most of the time it was verbal but occasionally I'd be physically attacked too, all because I was different. I became very insular, misanthropic and bitter as a result but one day I snapped when someone punched me in the back of the head "for fun".

I'd been learning martial arts for a while and there is something very satisfying about landing a near-perfect crescent-kick (Sweet Chin Music to WWE fans) to someone's jaw.

Funnily enough, a lot of the bullying stopped after that.

I was bullied in early primary school and then I became a bully myself for late primary school no one bothered me in high school I took that as a fresh start and kept to myself completely.

Elaboration edit:I was picked on for poor hygiene and the fact I acted like a freak. I managed to make friends with the bullies and became one myself somehow after I had improved my hygiene and found that we were really just a big bunch of friends in the end. In high school everyone kept to themselves and so did I my bully friends were still friends and they kept to themselves also as they became more focused on their education or skipping school depending on which one you were talking about.

Hm i think i was lucky as i was abit of a fat lump but played rugby outside of school at a local youth team. We have a 3 tier school system where im from so basically the last 3 years of your compulsary education is at a new school which is fed by 3 other smaller schools.

To cut a long story short for the first 2 weeks i had the standard big man douche bag picking on me as i was quiet and abit fat. We then after cross country had our first rugby match this guy was used to running through everyone so he ran straight at me... Classic dump tackle followed by a few good stamps to the ribs as he didn't release the ball. Needless to say most of the people who didn't know me very well were shocked lol

I got left alone after this and just made friends with everyone, made sure i took the time to chat to the outcast guys as well as i know how they felt.

As i said i was lucky school could have sucked dick if i hadn't played rugby...

Also i have been dubbed good guy greg (refrencing the meme ofc) a title i am most fond of lol.

I was in primary school (not sure of other countries equivilant, but the one where you are ages 4-11ish). Only verbal abuse, and most of the times the teachers didn't give a damn about it.

In secondary school I had people act like pricks towards me at times, but no more than they were against most people who weren't their friends.

I'm ginger, take a guess :p

But when ever people yell out "Hey ranger (rang - er for people who don't know the term)/ginger/what ever else they can come up with". I just turn to them and say "yeah?" completely un-phased by what they said and they kind of just think "..wait...what?" and go about there business wondering why i wasn't offended.

Yes I was. And pretty badly.

I was cyber-bullied before there even were ny social networks (they made a website just for me).

And I still have the scar on my right eyelid where one of them tried to stab my brain with a stiletto-shaped switchblade thing (I'm not sure about the right english word).

And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

I kicked some ass twice. But that only led to my schoolmates on the highest school form in my country to not touching me again themselves but instead inciting menacing guys from the lower school next to ours against me.

Nope. I am a wrestler, golfer, and class clown.

High School has been a pretty easy go for me, at least socially.

Plus, I go to a private school, so there's a lot less bullying going on anyway, since the average student is much smarter then your average public school lug.

Yeah bullies really couldn't bring back friend in my school since most of them were new, but a few of them did. Let's just say my fellow students also had a "no tolerance" policy which was enforced by the sports teams. Ever see someone stupid enough to try and fight the entire baseball team just after they left practice and still have the equipment, including the bats. Me neither cause I was helping the team study when it happened so it couldn't have been them.

Amazing what a little vigilantism and a good cover can accomplish.

Despite some teasing over having a fairly ridiculous last name, I didn't suffer too badly.

Funny enough, the worst bullying my friends and I got was in high school from a group of students in a younger grade. We would have easily put them in their place, but every time we tried to retaliate they would run off and find a teacher, claiming we were the ones bullying them. The principal knew what was going on but told us himself that if we ever retaliated in a way serious enough to involve parents, the school would take their side purely because they were younger than us, and so the assumption would automatically be that we were the perpetrators. Didn't stop them crying persecution even when we didn't react to them at all, at one point calling in a burly twenty-something brother to harass us. But under the threat of suspension and marks in our permanent record, we basically just had to put up with it, and we did.

Surprisingly no. However, there was this strange rumor around school that i speak Latin, (i don't) and every now and then people would notice me and say "hey! that is the Latin boy!".

School i went was no doubt most bizarre place on earth. Leather jacket wearing skinheads were the nicest guys on earth, while small skinny kids were total retards.

I was bullied when I was a kid... But then I got 6.3 feet tall and the last one who dared to treat me like crap got his head stuck in a locker.

I never really suffered with bullying, I played drums from an early age and everyone just assumed I could hit hard, in reality of course Drumming meant I was very passive, was also a massive help with my Asperges.
