Count me in as well, freaked out for a moment and was wondering what in god's name I could have done to have angered the mods like that.

I was unable to post for quite a while, and although that is fixed now, all the report buttons are still missing off everyone's posts. I sent a message though, and fully expect them to fix whatever the problem was shortly.

Odd how I didn't notice that until I read your post.

Perhaps we are all unbanable until the problem is fully resolved? That's probably the way I would go about it: Disable reporting/banning until everything is fully debugged, then re-enable it. Also, as has been previously posted, I am curious how this affects everyone's chance at the Neo badge.

As far as I'm aware, any black marks on your account get removed if they were found to be in error. Since this is most definitely one of those cases, I think your Neo badge is still totally safe

One thing though, all my posting rights are back, but the report button's gone.

Saying that on these forums is hardly sad. I guarantee the majority of its more regular users are agreeing with every word of that. Me included.

I found a post that might have made it a joke(I was talking about how the forum f404'd on me and to try to post a topic while banned is a 403)

but I"m glad I'm not theonly one and that post had nothing to do with it. It was weird though.

I wonder who they will decide to sort through them all, short straws perhaps? I'd love it if they just promoted someone from the escapist forums to a mod just to sort through the tens of thousands of "WTF?!?!" messages

happend to me, I was freking out, I just got the epic poster badge so I didn't find any reason for me to get banned, It was probally a small fourm break down, It's all good now.
