Marcus stared outside a window on the front of his tavern from behind the bar, he was watching the local hunter walking through town, a rare sight. He pointed him out to one of the barflies and said, "Hey there's that hunter fella, Ricardo I think his name is."

The drunkard laughed and responded, "Nah, his name isn't Ricardo it's Ronald."

"Oh, well that's what you get for being such a recluse, no one knows your name. I'm sure he's a nice enough guy, just a bit shy, maybe I should offer him a free drink."

"You never offer me free drinks."

"That's because I have to keep food on the table."

Marcus laughed at his own joke as he slid over the top of the bar. He walked to the main door, opened it, and called out, "Hey Ron! Ron! Come over here for a second man!"

School has ended, yet I am still going around here learning. In Israel, kids usually learn from eight AM to either one or three PM. Is it the same in the states? I am just asking so that I may know... stuff... about the story here.(Basically I need to know when it gets dark).
?

I'm not sure what you mean, but here goes:

In England the schools last from 8AM to 3-4PM
Given it's summer, the sun rises at about 6AM, and sets around 9-10PM

I hop that answers your question(s?) =S

Oops. Seems like I confused the AM and PM parts again.(Can't people say "before noon" and "after noon"? is it that difficult?)

Anyway, thanks. That is all I needed. It simply means that now, in the game world, it is about four after noon, which means their are about four hours before night falls and drama happens.

Have fun.

Googled it and it said about 8:14pm. Could be wrong.

He looked to his feet as he walked alongside Jess. What was wrong? He really had no reason to hide anything from her. And if he liked her she had a right to know. Right here goes. I do like you. Out loud you idiot! Use words!

"I do like you," was eventually brought out. First as a shy mumble gradually coughed into being before resurfacing as a bubbling up of something that he had wanted to always say. He said it with confidence this second time. "I do like you. But I've never wanted to mess this friendship up."

At Jon's words, Jess did a little dance inside. She felt as if a weight had been taken off her shoulders, and realised she felt the same way about Jon as he did to her. Outwardly, she smiled, but Jon still looked awkward, staring at his feet as if he ahd offended her.

He's so nervous, she thought, He needs to relax and let go

On impulse, she hugged him. It was nothing intimate, she just slipped her arm round his waist, but the surprise on Jon's face was evident.

"You're so sweet sometimes" she said, "But you don't need to worry about screwing things up. You sound like we've gone out and split up already"

You can say '7 in the morning' or '4 in the afternoon', if that's any help....

"Well... I suppose so." The tavern grew closer, and Jon was almost home. Jess lived a little further away from school than him so Jess continued to walk with Jon right up to the building. "See you tomorrow." He still spoke with a slight stutter, obviously confused from today's events. He turned to the door and reached for the handle as she turned with a slight wave and started to walk home herself. He gave a sigh after such a different school day. Jon had only one regret from this day. He never found out if she liked him back. He hadn't thought so but her smiles and the way she acted now told him otherwise.

There was still time to find out.

Jon ran after her, reaching her before she had gone too far from the tavern. "So..." He stared straight into his friend's eyes, wanting nothing more or less than the truth. "Just let me know something. Do you like me?"

He took a day to walk around town to get some sun and buy some things. He walk inside his home and lock the door. He never trust anyone who live around here as he walk inside his living room and started to watch tv.

Jon didn't say anything. He simply smiled, knowing the truth, and hugged Jess as she hugged back. So great. He ran his hand through her red hair and whispered into her ear "Goodnight Jess." She squeezed him and whispered back "Goodnight Jon." They parted then went their separate ways. Jon made his way to the tavern.

Jon reached the door and pushed his way inside. A few people were sitting around the tavern but he ignored them, going instantly for a side door at the very back. He unlocked the door and went through, leading to a set of stairs. At the top he collapsed onto the couch in his room and sighed.

Jess went on her way home, but as she got nearer, she hesitated. Her house was small, and she rarely had any privacy, and today she felt like being alone for a while.

Going past her house, she went to a small park nearby. Agilely, she clambered into a tree, not stopping till she found a comfy place to sit, 15 feet above the ground. She lent back on a branch and let her mind empty. Thoughts of Jon remained, but she didn't mind at all

If it's night, assume Jess makes her way home soon

I ask of you now: please, for the love of all that is roleplay, DO fucking NOT read someone else's paragraph. You may ruin the fun for YOU and for ALL OF US.
Okay? Please don't. Not cool at all.

It has been a strangely buisnessless day at the shop, to your dissapointment. You sigh frustratedly as you lock the place's front door and start walking slowly down the street in the general direction of your home. "No haste", you think to yourself. It's one of the wonderful things about this small town. No haste, no pressure at all. A huge, bloated, nearly full moon, yellow through the late spring's dusty air, gives the empty streets an almost magical image. The wind is warm and dry.
There is more then just sand in the wind, thaugh. It is a subtle feeling, a presence more then a thing. But it is there. You can feel it in your bones. Like a shiver... But far more wild and terrible.
You are more then a little nervous as you finally reach your house's door and enter safely.
It felt... like... You don't really know.
Something strange is going on.

You cannot truly describe with words the feeling that spirals like a mad storm inside your stomach right now. It is wonderful and warm and frightening and nice and horrible all in the same time. You finally did it. You told her that you like her. And she told you she likes you too. You feel like the king of the world.

You smile to yourself dreamily as you sit on the old tree in the park, moving your legs a little now and then from one side of the branch to another in some excited, hyperactive twitch. You feel great. You feel wild, energetic, passionate. Like there is a star inside your heart, exploading through your veins with bright, molten fire. It is not a bad sensation, thaough. In fact, you think you really like it. Like a tickle or a shiver all through your body. You laugh and giggle and you don't even know why.
The world seems so different this night. You wonder if it is indeed the feeling of love or lust or whatever it is. You wonder why you never tried this before. Sounds sound so much closer and sharper. A million smells floating in the dusty, warm air you never noticed before.
A great, yellow moon, almost full in the sky. You estimate that that should happen tommorow night or the night after.
It will be a beutiful, beutiful night.

Another busy late work day ends at your little pub. It was a good, if tiring day. Sometimes you wish there were more like it. You smile to yourself with satisfaction as you go up the small staircase from the establishment to your apartment. Jon is already in bed, it seems.
A perfect night.

A quiet, uneventful night like all others in the town of Briarwatch.

A quiet, uneventful night like all others in the town of Briarwatch.

..........

If you feel like keeping posting, that's cool with me. Don't forget the spoilers thaugh.
Morning will come when everybody is satisfied.

Frank felt something down him as he left the shop. Some kind of wind, twisting, spitting, pushing air particles through the air towards his nostrils where his sensitive hairs picked them up.

He dropped to the floor, panting, like he had run a marathon, then rose again, cuious, but not caring. He picked his bag of shopping up off the road and then decided to walk on, before realising he had a throbbing headache.

The pub ought to have some remedy for this.

He rose and carried on, heading for the pub, looking for some "remedy" for his headache, before in his pain bursting into song to celebrate his regular pub trip:

"Get, get, get drunk. Lets, get, get, get drunk. Lets..."

Frank was just about to start making dinner when he hear a loud, frantic knock on the door down in the pub area. He went down, quiet confused, and open the door to see Frank, from the general store, looking at him with a pleading face. He looks terrible. Maybe ill.

Do I have to write everything in a spoiler from now till next morning?

Jess felt ecstatic, full of energy. She felt like doing something... wild. Perhaps she should go find Jon, and they could... No, that was foolish. She shook her head, then shivered. It was summer, but it was also cold at night. She began to climb down the tree, and made her way home

As she slipped inside, her mother gave her 'where have you been?' look, and she replied with "I went round Hanna's. She was having a little gathering, so I went along, y'know?"

Without wating for a reply, she went up to her room, undressed swiftly and went to bed. She found it hard to get to sleep, her body charged with energy, and her mind filled with thoughts of Jon
