Alright so i think that we have all seen the news about these people and wether you think that they are crazy or not i think that more people need to stand up to them and maybe tell them that being media whores is not the way to go to get Gods word out to the public.

Heck i say the moment one of them dies we get THOUSANDS of people to come and protest at their funeral. I say we line the streets with people with signs and stuff saying varrious things. An eye for an eye makes everyone blind but you know what sometimes you got to poke some eyes. Im sorry if i have some nerd rage over this stuff but now that i have said something I'm kind of glad that i did.

Seriously though, you might be religious yourself, but EVERY time someone starts lecturing other people on the benefits of their faith and not stfu about it when they clearly aren't interested IS working against their own religion or religions in general if they're especially annoying about.

I agree. Not giving them any attention is a good to make people like these shut up. Give them positive attention and they feel like they're spreading the word of God. Give them negative attention and they still feel like they're spreading the word of god. Attack them and they feel like they're "martyring" themselves. Plus, if you just stop paying them any attention, whether they continue on is of no matter to you. They can only annoy you if you let them. And if they're just real-life trolls (which is possible) the same rules go. Don't feed them.

The other option I see is much less... reasonable.

As a soldier myself I've accepted the fact that the people at the WBC have something wrong with them emotionally and/or mentally. I'm content to ignore them but if anyone asks, which you did. I will say they all need to be experimented on by a psychoanalyst.

Nothing against Religion as long as you keep it within reason. i.e. Don't try to assume God's will or say what he has and hasn't done unless it's stated in the Bible.
