I'm of two minds on this.
One, I really dislike those pathetic attempts at Christianity. If they took even one of the classes at I take at my college it would blow their little pea-brains how ignorant they really are. They ( and people like them ) are the reason people don't like Christianity and give me funny looks when I say I'm a religion major. Plain and simple: I want them to get their ass handed to them. Hard.
On the other hand, people like the WBC thrive on attention. Perhaps it's time to give them a cold shoulder and no more of our attention. While few people agree on all of their methods or beliefs, there are plenty of people who share some of their beliefs to a point. Their radical actions galvanize others and encourage homophobic, racist, and anti-conservative-christian values. The less attention we give the WBC, and people like them, the sooner we can be rid of this kind of hate.
Overall, this seems to be the spasms of an entity all to aware of its own impending demise. Too frightened by the fact they've lost their influence over America they're lashing out at any attention they can get. Counter-protesters are ruining their anti-semetic shouts at showings of "Fiddler on the Roof". Hell's Angels are providing free security at GI funerals. Simply put WBC doesn't have the voice or interest they used to.
I'm also sitting back for the show, partly because I usually find Anon's antics amusing, but mostly because I think we are witnessing the end of this hateful organization. That is, for me at least, a very cheerful thought. ^_^
