I want to get the game, but want to know weather i should get it for my 360 or my pc. Which has the bigger community and is more worth buying for?

Well they are both good choices. You are probably going to get alot of pc's because they apparently offer more precision. I would stick with x-box though. I prefer my shooters on console. I have no idea which one has a better community.

Both communities are pretty much dead last time I checked, they had a peak of a few thousand people and then splintered it into 3 with DLC sets.

Also I don't know about consoles but don't get it on PC if you live somewhere out of the way, the matchmaking has a tendency to stick you in a lobby with 15 people on the other side of the world and make you the host. Getting run out of a server for something the game did to you is a horrible feeling :(

I'd recommend PC. Relic has always been good to the PC community, and Spess Mahreen is no different.

I bought SPESS MEHREN on PC. I have yet to play it very much because of the fucking awful audio stuttering problems.

Nothing to do with my hardware; people with better and worse systems, different components, have this same problem.

PC is much better. I have it on Xbox and found the multiplayer to be near unplayble due to lag. I cannot enjoy it since the lag is horrific. It's not that great on PC either but im pretty sure it's better on there than it is on console.

Ive had it on the PC and the Xbox. Noticed no game changer differences between the two though I play the 360 version more on account of my friends having it on that. When I do play it on the PC though its with a 360 controller so I guess if I had to pick a platform here and now it would be the 360.

Never had a problem with lag or audio issues on either platform.

I would recommend the console version buddy. Granted if you have a high tier gaming rig you could maybe some sharper textures and tighter controles but it does have some bugs that havn't been patched yet. The community isnt dead, but it can be bothersome to find a game with commited team players instead of gung ho fools. But the console community (last time I checked was about a month ago) the community still had quite a few players, but not enough to offer variety. hope this helped dude :)

It's gotten significantly better since near launch, still has the odd stutter, but usually good.

I'd say it depends on which platform you usually play shooters on. However, the multiplayer on xbox live isn't quite dead, but it's not brilliantly populated. Not sure whether the community's any better on PC.

Well, depends which platform you have a preference for shooters on...

Personally, I wouldn't even bother with teh Spehss Muhreens because MP's close on dead now, the SP is OK but not much to write home about so once you get online you'll just be instakilled by hippies with jetpacks.

Was it ported from a console? 'Cos I've got it on PS3 and it runs perfectly.
Except I can't find the damn thing.

Choose the platform your friends play, if they do, because the community is near-dead.

Just pull out a PlayStation Plus subscription. Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine is one of the many free games they are currently offering.

Pfft. Don't support games that don't include the best race in the universe.

The community has really, really slowed down. If you have a group of friends to play the co-op Exterminatus mode (read: horde mode) with, then it might be worth a look. Otherwise, I don't think you'll get a lot out of the multiplayer at this point.

Yeah, I have it on PS3 and there aren't many playing online, judging purely by sales it won't be much more for the 360...a shame, because I quite like the online mode, although the excellent single player is easily enough to justify the purchase, in my opinion. Sorry I can't really help with the 360 vs PC question, but the game itself is definitely a good choice.
