What accent can you do best?

I can pull a very mean Scottish accent. Thank you Frightened Rabbit, We Were Promised Jetpacks, and The Twilight Sad. Scottish bands like you have made me what I am today.

I unfortunatly am Irish, Welsh, Polish, and German... You would not believe how few bands I can find that are good from those places that help with an accent. Ive have like 3 Irish ones but that accent just continues to allude me

I think I'm actually better at Japanese. But that's only when I say the words...

As far as the accents for the English language, I'm good at British. Particularly Cockney.

Scottish and Irish are tied for maybe second.


Oh but speaking with the southern type is good. Like a southern belle.

Whenever I speak English I speak in a Russian accent, I'm not from Russia and I've never been there either, it's kind of weird, but people seem to get a kick out of it.

Well, I am capable of doing a crappy, over-the-top Scottish accent, and a decent Cockney accent. My Southern accent is the best, but I really don't think that counts; elements of that accent permeate my speech, given my Alabamian heritage. It's not that hard to go all out an' staart tawlkin' lahk thee-us.

I don't even possess the accent I should (Fife) apparently I sound more like I'm from the Lothians. I can do a mean Glaswegian (East and West end) accent. (All of which are Scottish for you non-Brits).

I can pull off a Cockney accent to some degree and Received Pronunciation is easy. I can do some other regional British accents but I can't hold them and my Welsh always becomes Indian somehow. I can sort've pull off Northern and Southern Irish accents.

French, German, Mexican, Indian, Australian, Chinese and Japanese are other ones I can imitate but not maintain. I do a mean Russian, apparently, even though Russian accents are really diverse so eh...

I can also impersonate California, Midwestern, Texan, Cajun and 'hillbilly' to some degree. I am fucking terrible at New York and New Jersey accents though xD

Now, this of course sounds like a stupid braggy post. I'll grant you that it's braggy, but it's not stupid, since it's actually true. I am a man of few talents, but imitating accents and nailing them perfectly happens to be one of them. I can't impersonate cartoon characters or celebrities as well as I'd like, but I'm perfectly capable of imitating even the most outrageous and difficult accents. Hell, I'm able to pronounce freaking Chinese near-perfectly ffs, so just a Chinese accent is even easier.

I do a good Christopher Walken and German accent to. A bit of a southern accent also.

I'm taking a shot in the dark and saying Seattle. I try to avoid using a Scottish-Russian accent unless I'm deliberately making fun of Sean Connery. My Russian accent has improved thanks to Call of Duty, and I might try to coach my GM into it.

Nope XD I live in a little town called Paulsbo.

I use it when I'm speaking Russian, but considering I can't do any accent, it still pretty much fails.

Angry: cockney. Little like Sean bean in dog soldiers.
When I have an idea: David tenant mode initiated.
Intellectual: posh British
Creepy: French.
Anecdote: Irish.

Thing is, I can't summon any of these at will!

Years ago back at school I once fooled a substitute teacher into thinking I was from California (I am from Northern England). We only thought she'd be teaching us for one day but then it turned out our normal teacher was actually quite ill, so she taught us for about 2 months, I almost kept it up the whole time but eventually she talked to another teacher about me and I got in trouble. Ahh to be young.

I can do a lot of accents, too many to be bothered to list really, 10-15 various british accents and a couple of pretty generic american ones.

Southern United States. I've been there enough I can pull off the actual accent, not the one from the media, the real one which tends to be far less, pronounced. I say that, because I can not pull off any British accent, as I grew up with an American media that tends to, exaggerate and invent one of it's own, at least by the standard of the British people I know. I can do that crazy invented one quite well though.
