i was just watching some videos on youtube of Robin Williams, and found myself thinking, 'when Robin Williams, i'll probably cry at the loss of such a great star...'. Do any of you have a celebrity like that, who you would honestly get emotional at their death?

what actor/comedian/famous person in general will you cry for when they pass away?

Sean Connery, Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Ian McKellen and alot more... but those just came to my mind.. its mostly those i grew up with in movies :) and when the old school actors has passed away, we leave them and see what the new actors can do and if they can live up to the old school... which im very worried about :(

I know I will feel some great sadness the day John C. McGinley passes away. :'(

Add to that list the entire Scrubs cast as they were in Season 8. I haven't seen Season 9 yet as Britain is being stupid with its programming.

Patrick Stewart, Sean Connery and Morgan Freeman. The three best voices ever.

Clint Eastwood.

He is the only person I can think of who deserves to have the consideration of having a holiday in his honor. The man has done more for movies, hollywood, and the film industry than any combination of actors, directors, studios, etc. throughout the history of the great moving picture.

And if it weren't for him, we wouldn't have Roland Deschain.

Will Smith, Gerard Butler, and Ashton Kutcher.

And if musical artists count too, then Benjamin Burnley (from Breaking Benjamin).

Edi: Oh, yes, Clint Eastwood too. The man's a Hollywood genius.

None, death is a natural thing and is not one to cry over.
yes, but basic human instinct is for survival, so when we see another human being go down, especially one that we idolize, it saddens us that we will lose that person from our lives, along with the fact that it reminds us of our own mortality. to say that you don't care if someone you know and are fond of dies shows a great lack of emotion, to the point of being sociopathic, in which case i pity you :\

Cry? Not a damn one. They're only celebrities, not family members or loved ones or even small animals---look to your left. I cried when Buster died. RIP, little fella. :(

I didn't say I wouldn't care, realizing ones mortality is an important thing, it can make life feel fragile but it also helps make life more beautiful, more meaningful to be with loved ones.

But in a way every single person is a sociopath to some degree.
