Cry? Not a damn one. They're only celebrities, not family members or loved ones or even small animals---look to your left. I cried when Buster died. RIP, little fella. :(
Celebrities are in a position to influence and help shape many people. Some are a societal bastard but there are a lot of artists/entertainers out there that have inspired or have had positive effects on people because their life being so publicized.

Also, I strongly believe that many actors have transcended their work into art and I'm sad when society loses great artists.

I cried like a baby when June Carter Cash died, knowing that Johnny would follow shortly after. I then cried like a baby again when he died, and I'll probably cry when more of the entertainers who have left a significant impact on me, die.

Clint Eastwood.

He is the only person I can think of who deserves to have the consideration of having a holiday in his honor. The man has done more for movies, hollywood, and the film industry than any combination of actors, directors, studios, etc. throughout the history of the great moving picture.
While I'm not sure about him having done more for cinema than anyone else (Kurosawa, anybody?), he's definitely done a whole lot more more than most, I will certainly mourn him when he dies. He's one of the greatest living filmmakers and I absolutely love his work. He has directed over 30 films, and, not a single one has gone over-budget or over-schedule. That is just amazing, and has got to be a record of some sort.

Granted, I'm more of a fan of his work as a director than an actor, but I do think his best films are the ones where he both directs and acts.

Hard to say, since there are a lot of them... so off the top of my head, I'm just gonna say Robin Williams.

Damn...Sean Connery, Robin Williams, Harrison Ford, Christopher Lee, Peter O'Toole, Omar Sharif, Clint Eastwood, and Ian Mckellan. All of these men are greats and I hope that they will never go but sadly they will.

Sean Connery, Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Ian McKellen and alot more... but those just came to my mind.. its mostly those i grew up with in movies :) and when the old school actors has passed away, we leave them and see what the new actors can do and if they can live up to the old school... which im very worried about :(
same, also Richard Gere, Morgan Freeman, and Edward Norton.

Hugh Jackman. I've had a giant crush on him for yeeeaaarrrssss.
Hopefully it doesn't happen for a long, long time. </3

I'll miss Ian McKellen as well, but I don't think I'd actually cry.
