i was between 4-6 (I think) and the first game I played was either Mario 64, Mario Krt 64, or Ocarina of Time (of corse I couldnt apreciate that at the time) but i dont know what was actually first
Depends. I can either count when I was 2 (with Solitaire), when I was 5 (when my dad and I started playing the Gold Box CRPGs), or when I was 7 (and got a Genesis and Sonic 2).
I started gaming when I was about Five on the Sega Genesis with the Menacer. It came to our house while my family was on Christmas vacation in California. A Christmas Miracle!
I was 7 when I bought the NES for myself (and SMB/Duck Hunt with it), but I had been playing my dad's Atari 2600 for a few years prior.
The first video games I played were Wolfenstein 3d and monty python's: flying circus. When I was 4, Ahhh those were the days.
Some sporadic old skool Nintendo Game & Watch handhelds marked my first gaming experiences.

AHHHHHH i remember the days i spent playing Sonic 2 on my old Genesis i basically ruined my childhood since i was 4 because of that game, I would play for about 6 hours at a time just reaching the final stage and then my parents forcing me to turn it off lol.
The first game I ever played was Age of Empires at age 6. Not exactly the most kid friendly game, but I got quite attached to strategy and puzzles as a result.
