Abbey Road. Me and my friends plan to cover the entire album and do the medley on a show.

Killing With A Smile by Parkway Drive.
I have a completely different view on music now.
Fucking hate those guys. I've seen one of them hittting on girls in the average australian way. They are such cocky fucks since they've taken the australian music scene by storm. I'm just glad they were only invited to Metal For the Brain (Australia's biggest music festival) once only because Alchemist(an actually awesome australian band) was low on money that year. Thing was when I said people only liked them because they were australian most of my class realized this, but one went "I only like them because they don't have long hair."

You want real australian metal bands listen to Lord, Destroyer 666 and the aforementioned Alchemist.

Well there's been a few for me, let's see.
Alice in Chains - Dirt
Nirvana - Nevermind
Rage Against The Machine - RATM
Led Zeppelin - Zoso or the 4th album
Tool - Lateralus
Korn - Issues
Muse - All of the albums have but mostly Absolution
Radiohead - OK Computer

And I don't like to admit it, but credit where it's due...

Oasis - What's the story morning glory
Limp Bizkit - Chocolate starfish
Eminem - Marshall Mathers LP

Fiona Apple hit me harder than anything that I heard before that time, to the point of being scared of her music for some years, because it simply affected me too deeply.

The band Los Hermanos also had great influence on how I viewed life and myself.

Bill Withers also comes to mind as a truthful performer in that respect.

I find ridiculous that there are people who just flat out say that music can't affect someone's life, despite so many passionate and emotional testimonials from people around the world.

How many songs became anthems of many human desires and endeavors, like love, freedom, anger, justice, sorrow, lust and whatever else is part of the human experience?

And how about ancient ritual music, which even induced altered states of conciousness on the participants of such rituals, to this very day, on temples and gathering grounds of many, many religions and creeds?

C'mon...

By the way, I'm affected by songs, never by whole albums. There's always that one which is just...

Dead Kennedys - Too Drunk to Fuck EP

My father has the original 45 (for those of you who don't know it is a smaller record). He played it for me when I was anywhere from 10-13 years old and it changed my world. I never heard music like that, it was raw, fast, powerful, simply amazing. I have been a fan of punk music ever since.

Same (well almost) Hearing Fresh fruit for rotting vegetables by the same band got me into music.

I don't listen to it very much now, but it has to be How The West Was Won by Led Zeppelin, which I was given in...2005, I think. I was never very much into music before that, so it completely changed my life. Like I said I don't listen to it much anymore-the album that got me listening to the stuff I chiefly listen to now (metal) would be Metallica's Death Magnetic.
