Lungs by Florence and the Machine |D. I'm forcing myself to mix in some Metric and Phoenix in when I listen to it so I don't get sick of it after listening to it for the 500th time.

At the moment it would have to be Megadeth's Countdown to Extinction.

I fall in love with that album about 4 times a year when I throw it in my car or whatever, it's just so good.

EDIT: Oh, and I have Radiohead's Ok Computer in my car at the same time too, that's another good album I'm in love with at the moment.

Best Coast! Perfect for the summer and girly, yet makes a guy like me sing along to the lyrics and damn proud of it.

Just a sample:

Great album :)

Agreed - very much like that album - has some very poignant meditations on death mixed with some great music, though I do get somewhat burned out on the "guitar whine" that they employ a lot (minor criticism considering how much I love the rest of the album).

Otherwise:

Spock's Beard - X (latest album, their self titled is amazing too)

Some other albums I've currently been listening to:

Tera Melos - 40 Rods to the Hogs Head
I was into tera melos for a while myself. I hear their original drummer has been working with marnie stern, and i know their guitarist did some stuff on zach hill's last album.

I guess currently it would have to be either Dear Agony by Breaking Benjamin, or any album by Chevelle or Demon Hunter.

Oddly, my current favourite album is the soundtrack CD from the first Witcher game. The music is beautiful, and it's been getting constant repeat play on my MP3 player for the last couple of weeks.

Right now just purchased Doomsday Machine by "Arch Enemy".
They are amazing musicians and the songwriting is decent. I love every song so far.
Oh and the singer is stunning both in sound and in looks =}

My favorite is either Gorillaz's 'Demon Days,' or Daft Punk's 'Discovery'
There are only a few albums I can listen to all the way through and never tire of, and these are up there.

I guess its also worth mentioning that both have incredible visualizations, whether it be the Live Show at the Manchester Opera House, or an entire anime movie produced by Toei.

Well, my faith in humanity is mildly restored. You'll probably have to order from an online retailer (as I cannot find this album anywhere in the brick and mortar scene). I suppose you could DL it, but I'd very much advise against that because good artists deserve compensation. Also, just to make sure you like the rest of the music (or rather will like) on the album, just do a quick search on youtube (or on itunes - for samples) for their stuff - might as well be an educated consumer, right?
Thanks for the compliment too - if you like Spock's Beard, you might like music by Frost*:
(Slow start, but really great song)

I swear I listen to music with lyrics, I just happen to keep picking songs sans vocals currently =D
