I'm a bit disappointed that nobody has mentioned Grisaia no Kaijitsu yet. I mean sure it's never going to be as good as the VN but i'm interested in seeing how it goes. I guess it might look a bit generic if you've never played the VN, I was so shocked by its random appearance on the anime season list.
I'll be happy to see Best Girl Michiru in motion at the very least and it should not be possible to be downright bad considering how the original VN is top quality in story and they can copy/paste the godlike soundtrack over, unless they ruin Yuuji by casting the wrong voice actor or whatever. Well, that and making sure all the original VAs reprise their roles as well, not sure how hard or easy that is to do consistently in the industry. Also I hope that they include the Pitcher Payback scene in there somewhere, that was so hype. If it only gets 12 episodes they're going to have to cut a lot out though, probably will abridge the introduction arc so hard. I'm just rolling dice thinking about which route they're going to do. It's a toss up between Yumiko, Sachi or Michiru for me.
Yumiko because she's the one you get if you dodge all other routes, Sachi because she has the old forgotten childhood friend card and Michiru because she's my favourite :3
Obviously Log Horizon S2 is on the watch list and probably the new Psycho-Pass though I got the impression that there would be no sequel given the nature of season 1. No direct sequel anyway. Honestly i'll try a few more while i'm at it, a decent amount look alright alongside the instant watch ones.

Yeah Tokyo Ghoul was a surprising heavy hitter last season, I really enjoyed it. I felt like it would be one where the concept is good but would ultimately fail to live up to it past the first 3/4 episodes and just spiral into nothing. Glad I was wrong.neonsword13-ops said:Psycho-Pass
I'm not interest in anything this season except for maybe two or three things. Last season was incredible. We had Terror In Resonance, Barakamon, and Tokyo Ghoul. I don't see that selection being topped for a while.
Which is why I'm watching Psycho-Pass. Never seen it before but it's a damn-fucking-fine cop drama. Really great premise and interesting scenarios. Gonna try and finish it before the second season starts. I just hope the original writers are behind this one. I know the animation studio changed, so I'm having some worries.
I quite like useless main characters progressing their character arcs, there's something really satisfying about it. Good character arcs anyway, like Yukiteru in Mirai Nikki where he finally fuckin' mans up after like 20 episodes and now Kaneki. I like the somewhat brave decision to make the entire last episode take place in one room and several mindscapes, it worked brilliantly.
Although I assume there's an ongoing manga because the very last few minutes of the episode were basically an advertisement for it.

Parasyte - Read the manga a couple months ago. I agree that the 'nerd' character design is disappointing, since the MC has a really good character arc. Watching it with high expectations.
Coffin Princess S2 - Enjoyable first season. No reason to think the second one will be terrible.
Pyscho-Pass S2 - Pyscho-Pass.
Yamada and the Seven Witches OVA: Based on the best body-swapping Rom-Com manga around.
TerraFormers - The censorship is a bit obnoxious, but I'm still on board.
Orenchi no Furo Jijo - Handsome Merman moves into a guy's bathtub. It's a comedy. Hoping it will be like 'Good Luck Girl.' All I got.

Pretty much this. I've already watched Psycho-Pass and absolutely loved it, so I really hope the next season can keep that level of quality. And I've also seen Fate/Zero (and the original F/SN anime) so I'm pretty pumped, if it's even near as good as F/Z was I'll be one happy anime watcher. As for the rest, I guess I'll be cherry-picking suggestions from this thread, though nothing has caught my eye so far.Uriel_Hayabusa said:

My most anticipated anime this season is Fate Stay/Night Unlimited Blade Works remake by Ufotable. Two episodes with 1 hour each..I cannot fathom how happy I am to know that I will get to see that today.
