Kimi ni Todoke S2 and Outlaw Star. I've seen Outlaw Star before but it's been so long since I've seen it that it feels like I'm watching it for the first time.

What I just finished was Jyu-oh Sei and Trigun, I'm currently not watching anything but am looking into Black Blood Brothers
That's all Hulu Recommends right now
BBB was a surprisingly good show up until they ran out of production budget at the end :( Some of the fight scenes there suffered badly for it, and it's a shame, the show deserved better. But it was a really good story with the most interesting villains I've seen in a long time.

BL here too. I just invested in the DVDs as I've watched the whole thing online at mediocre quality, so the next watch will be top quality :)

Just finished Coyote Ragtime Show and now starting to watch Noir. I'm only two episodes into Noir, so I can't form an opinion on it just yet.

Currently I'm not watching any. Since the only network in Canada that I know of that used to show anime has ceased doing so, I find myself without a source. I know I could always get it off the 'net, but that presents it's own problems, namely that I don't know what to watch. Well that and I never get around to it. You see when it's on TV at a certain time I know I have to be in front of the TV at that time to catch it, but if left to my own devices I find myself procrastinating to the point where I never actually get around to it.
well just choose a show and plan in a time each week (or multiple times a week) to do it. Sounds like a planner would be a perfect gift for you
That's the thing, the vast majority of anime I've seen I only saw because it happened to be featured in this channel's anime line-up. Either that or there were the ones I saw during my brief time attending a local anime club or a friend of mine introduced me to. In any case, by myself I don't know which one's are worth watching.

Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica: A nice deconstruction of the magic girl genre, I really like it but I'm starting to dislike it slightly because my friend keeps going on about it's greatness.
Gen Urobuchi is such a fucking hack.

Even Akiyuki Shinbo can't keep me interested in his bullshit, and that's really saying something.
If you don't mind my asking Why do you think he's a hack?

Okay, he may not be a hack. I just find myself getting incredibly bored and slightly annoyed by everything he's written. Well, all the stuff I've seen anyway. He's just so unoriginal.

Even moreso when compared with Shinbo's direction, since he actually does new and interesting stuff.

Your mileage may vary, I guess.

Ergo Proxy
Watch it now!

Anyway, I've been mostly watching stuff that's new. I'll list 'em:
Yumekui Merry - Pretty boring and I have never seen characters this forgettable in an anime before. The only reason I'm still watching (other because I started watching it) is because I think the basic idea is kind of neat. I have a fascination with dreams.
Puella Magi Madoka Magica - HOLY BALLZ I LOVE THIS SHOOOOOOOOOW! It's beautiful, it's engaging. This the show that look forward to every week.
Gosick - The mysteries are always of the following: solved immediately by the average viewer, are impossible to be solved by viewers because the medium caters to only two senses, or lack any logic. They're not that fun. HOWEVER, Victorica is adorable (yeah, that's about it).
Beelzebub - Unfunny (electric shocks weren't funny when Pikachu did 'em), uninteresting characters (one of the main characters is a baby, who cares?), action is sparse or only lasts one or two punches per villain, and the plots are based mostly on filler. I hate shounen.
Mitsudomoe 2 - I'm ashamed of this title, but it's still more interesting than some of the other crap I'm watching.
Dragon Crisis! - Speaking of crap, this is probably the worst thing I'm watching. Characters are flat and uninteresting, it's a harem, I'm pretty sure they already finished the plot in 3 episodes, and it's hilariously predictable and cliched. It has pretty colours though.
Kore wa Zombie desu ka? - A parody of shounen anime. It's generally unfunny, and they took out the murder mystery plot, which I thought was the most interesting part about it.
Level E - A really funny show about aliens on Earth. It seems to have seperated itself from most of the characters in the first arc, but I still recommend that you watch it asap.
Wandering Son - a mature anime that deals with gender identity. No slapstick, no trap fanservice. If you don't like good dramas, don't watch it.
Fractale - If you like Ghibli, you'll like this. I don't even care for Ghibli and I like it. The setting is interesting, the plot is unfolding nicely, and the characters work.

In between days without these, I've been watching Hare + Guu.

I'm watching Kanon now. It definitely feels "Key-esque".
What a coinicidence. I'd be watching that right now if I hadn't just finished volume 2 and netflix for some reason doesn't have 3 and 4.

Why did they have to lose 3?! It's right in the middle of the Makoto arc, dammit! I mean, I've played the game, so I already know what happens, but still!

...

Er, anyway. I'm watching Ah My Buddha, now. My expectations for it are pretty damned low, but I'm hoping it's at least decent fanservice. I'll finally be getting around to Soul Eater and Trigun afterwards.

None, but I have Baccano and Birdy the Mighty on my PC waiting to be watched. I also have Seikon to watch. I am burned out on anime though. I mean, when I was like 19(two years ago) I watched like 60+ different anime within that year.

Just finished eden of the east, currently watch Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. Both are really good although i wish eden was a few episodes longer, they leave things unanswered, I'll have to watch the movies.

None at the moment, but my last one is Baccano. That's one crazy show alright. Lovely though, if a bit...incoherent.

Next up would be, probably, Ghost In The Shell Stand Alone Complex. But I'm too addicted to Californication to make room for another show. There's also Monster, a serious thriller/crime drama, that looks very appealing.

I watch little anime and the ones I do watch I pick very very carefully. Cowboy Bebop, Steamboy, Ghost In The Shell, Studio Ghibli and the occasional weird one like Baccano. That's about it. I like to avoid typical anime archetypes and cliches.
