Rewatching already? That's... rather quick. I tend to rewatch anime I liked after a month or two, not right away.

Rather because I watched 17 straight episodes of sadness and want to rewatch the "cheerful, fun" episodes.

Yeah... More emotionally draining than Clannad as there are literally no breather episodes for that long, and little comic relief... The comic relief is still good, but in far less amounts.

I just finished Air Gear for the 48991th time and I am considering to start watching it again .. in an hour.
For what I'm watching that's not a rewatch Pandora Hearts, Escaflowne, Tales of the Abyss and Ouran Highschool Host Club. Reading this thread has made me very keen on going back to some Kanon.

For this particular reason I usually don't watch too many episodes of the same anime in a row. This is also why I tend to watch just before going to bed, so I'm sure I won't just keep on watching.

I'm the opposite, sort of. I watch a whole season of anime in one sitting and never move from the spot as long as it's interesting. I think I watched a whole season and a few episodes of Clannad in one sitting, and 19 Episodes of Kanon in one sitting yesterday. I devour animes way too fast. I wish there was another season.

Its going to take a while for the new series, just finished the newest chapter today though. Guess who my favorite is.

I'm just saying; the happy episodes aren't going to last. It's not exactly full-out depressing, but it's mostly interesting which keeps you watching. If you like this, try Clannad if you haven't. It has the same kind of sad stuff, but it has a LOT of comic relief and comes with some breather episodes. Just watch out for season 2, that's when things get sad-as-fuck.

I believe the 2006 version, how did they change it? Was it changed for story reasons?

I believe the animation and whatnot was pretty bad, and they changed the episodes slightly. Looking at pictures, it looks, to be frank, crappy compared to the 2006 version.
