Oh I don't mean taking the bullet as in "it's bad". I mean it as in "it's fucking 668 episodes long".Kaimax said:You shouldn't have treated as a bullet though, as One Piece is the best one when compared with the other 2 in the "Past Trio"jhoroz said:I've finally took the bullet and decided to watch One Piece.

I am watching a couple anime series with my friends. Started Evangalion with one but we are still stuck in the early episodes due to never remembering to watch it, so I don't have much to say about it since I really have not watched much at all but looks pretty interesting, and I'm watching Kill la Kill again with another friend who is watching it for the first time. We watch about 2 episodes a week and I have been really enjoying watching it again with someone else to talk to about it as events happen.
I'm watching Akame ga Kill simply because I can basically just watch it whilst eating or whatever and not think too much about what's going on. I personally think it's alright, and I like (some) of the characters enough for me to want to see what happens.
Also, Space Dandy is one I am watching sporadically simply because there is no overarching story, well not much of one, so I can enjoy an episode randomly from time to time.
There are a few others I want to start getting into as well, mainly Steins Gate as I hear it's supposed to be very good and Ergo Proxy as yet another friend of mine is currently finishing it off and says it's really good.
I think that's all of them, I still have many others to try too.
I'm watching every episode of the show, and am on episode 18 right now. Hopefully this arc will begin soon~ Kirito not being the main should be interesting!Kaimax said:Lol if you want the feels, the watch the current (and last) arc of the 2nd season. Mother Rosario, where Kirito isn't the main character.Elvis Starburst said:Kaimax said:Sword Art Online II
(At least it doesn't have ALO anymore lol)......................... Oh my.
OT: Re-watching Clannad at the moment! All the feels, man... So good x.x
I'm not sure really, I'm think I am just enthralled enough by the series to carry on. Also SPOILERS, yeah I was pretty unhappy when Bulat died, especially as he was voiced by the same guy who voiced Kamina (at least I think it was hence the 'call me bro' thing).Hectix777 said:Spanglish Guy said:I have a few at the moment:

How do you do it? It is impossible for me to watch Akame ga kill! Not because the anime's art style is different from the manga (that's a little true), not that it has bad writing, and not because I hate it. I can't watch because it feels like it's written by Andrew Hussy!
And they killed Bulart!!! How can anyone do that! He was literally the coolest guy, I wanted to grow a pompadour because of him!
It's certainly something. It's inconsistent in quality, but still more interesting than most stuff that comes out. The series turn into a story about dealing with depression is great, too.Someone Depressing said:Evangelion - Not the first time I've watched it, but I decided to give it another shot.
It's... it's a piece of work. Got to give Gainax points for effort.
Haruhi seems like a generic comedy for otaku and the like, but it's so much more. It's one of the few shows I've seen that can really nail blending drama and comedy. Also, the dub is just excellent.Someone Depressing said:Haruhi Suzumiya - Again, rewatching. And I couldn't remember the more insane plots.
Much, much funner on subsequent rewatches.
Yeah, the great amount of crap anime that come out every season doesn't make it easier to be a fan. I don't really have the time anymore to watch it, so tend to catch up on old stuff I missed.Someone Depressing said:Not much new animoo coming out around now that'd interest me. Then again, anime generally gets on my nerves due to the painfully played-straight stories and the stupidity of the plots and how the animation just degrades over time... So many things about anime that get on my nerves just puts me off it in general.
