This too... I (fortunately) have not met any arrogant people lately. And when movies/TV shows spew useless technobabble that makes no sence, but sounds cool to the layman.Xeraxis said:Arrogance. Just makes me wants to shove my foot up someones ass who thinks he's the next best thing to humanity.
If I'm understanding the situation you're describing correctly, I think that's just a mental disconnect that takes a few seconds to catch up. You hear what the person said but you don't really register it straight away because you are concentrating on something else, asking what they said is just a reflex. FYI I do it all the time. =PAwkwardTurtle said:I'm a hypocrite since I do the thing I'm annoyed by.I think I got it from my mom.
It's when stuff like this happens. Similar to yours. :3
Me: "So what did you think about this?"
Person: "Oh, what?"
Me: "So what did you-"
Person:" "Oh yeah I thought derpity derp"
Thoughts: DID YOU HEAR ME THE FIRST TIME OR WHAT?!?!
I do it too though. So yay for hypocrisy.![]()
You're annoyed because people don't stereotype you because of your looks and mannerisms? I think something has gone wrong here...ReservoirAngel said:I hate it when people don't realise that I'm gay so I have to spell it out for them. Seriously, it happens remarkably often. I'm a petite blonde guy who wears scarves and openly listens to show-tunes, how much more do people need from me!?
In this case, I can deal with stereotyping. It just pisses me off when people don't get it. I make it pretty damn obvious, but some remain infuriatingly oblivious. I don't want to have to tell everyone I meet that I'm gay so I just don't hide it but the select few that don't seem to realise just piss me off. I know it's kind of fucked up priority-wise but screw it, that shit pisses me off. Everyone's allowed some irrational annoyances and this is one of mine, right alongside pogo sticks.Mandalore_15 said:You're annoyed because people don't stereotype you because of your looks and mannerisms?
