People who insult my intelligence by assuming I lack basic common sense. And people who expect respect without earning it.

Idiots make me angry.
or chavs.
especially idiot chavs that need to find a nice out-of-the-way place to die.
Especially just after they walk up to someone and challange them to beat the crap out of them. then they deserve it.
Woah... slow down there...

Now I KNOW you can have an idiot who isnt a chav but I dont think you can have a chav that isnt an idiot. :D

when people complain about racism and sexism. im not part of the problem and i dont care so why are they telling me.

and stupid people doing dumb things eg "lets tape these meters sticks together and not use a tape measure" they then yell at me for taking the tape i needed... this was AS level physics.

Hrmmm....I could write a novel on this, but...

Staring...glaring when you're not at fault and that's obvious...conversationalists that have nothing in common with you...People who are always trying to one-up you...

...seriously, I'm either way too masculent to the populous or every male I know wants to challenge me into doing something. It gets troublesome, since it happens a lot at work.

not much actually, but repetition usually wears me down - nothing can immediately infuriate me.

Proably people who text during a movie. They tell you to shut the crap off for a reason. Sure it's on vibrate, but you still have the backlight on full blast. When I'm watching the best part of Inglorius Bastards, the last thing I wanna be distracted by is your cellphone.

Why the fuck did you bring it anyways? Do you find the movie so boring that the text on your screen seems more interesting?

- Logical fallacies spoken from the mouths of arrogant, argumentative people, particularly authority figures.

- When people will not let others justify their arguments because they dominate with their loud, arrogant voices, makes me even madder if people support them just because they are popular and a good speaker, not because they have thought about the actual things they are saying. I am usually soft spoken in real life. However, I can be assertive if someone violates my principles, I actually enjoy a debate every now and then, but when it stops being a civil debate and becomes an emotion-driven argument, that annoys me.

- When people believe a battle of wits is a way to decide what is right.

- When someone spouts a generic insult and people go "oooooh burn ahahaha"

- Generally, getting in to verbal arguments annoys me. Things get lost in tangents and the amount of words that one can't even hold in their short term memory for long enough, there is no specific record of what one has said, it becomes more about speaking skill than actual fact, and people generally don't think things through before they say them because they are pressured to have a quick retort.

- Also, the enforcement of petty rules that violate personal freedom and responsibility. "You have to wear this overpriced fishing hat with the school logo on it because you might get skin cancer because of being in the sun for 20 or so minutes and recess and 40 at lunch, even if you are sitting in the shade, or walking to the library" What, our health is their responsibility? Are they going to get rid of all the junk food they sell at the tuckshop to lower our risks of obesity, or get rid of the wireless network because some people believe they can increase risk for cancer, or stop making us play sport because we could injure ourselves? Also, I never got sunburnt unless they made me play sport and I am quite pale. Isn't it actually better to tan slowly, (the short breaks we get at school would be ideal) rather than cover up and get really pasty until that one odd time you get sunburnt really bad?

- When people judge others and hurt their feelings without knowing the full story. For example, my friend had a hard time when her mum suddenly took off from her grandmas where they were living for some reason and took some of her stuff with her and she believed she might never see her little siblings again. The teacher asked why she didn't have her maths textbook and she got upset and said it was personal, and someone was like "urrr why would she be like that over a maths textbook" STFU, you don't know the full story.

- When people misrepresent what others think. A teacher said that people who disobey petty rules believe they are more special than everyone else. That is not true.

These things might not make me want to throw a tantrum, but they do make me mad enough to want to write an angry rant and change something.

When anyone says "whatever" or "get over it". It's just mean, your basically dismissing someones feelings because you don't care or you can't be bothered listening.

People who don't try to understand both sides of the argument, refusing to listen to the opposition and claim they are right. I especially hate it when they call the people they instantly disagree with a 'certain title' claiming they are ignorant.

You sound like my grandfather, you wouldn't happen to be a grumpy old man by any chance?

I kid, I kid.

Anyways I hate it when I tear open a packet of crisps and it splits.

That's what inspired me to post it.

I was on the worst covers topic and saw that and wanted to kill myself.

I read the thread title and immediately recalled trying to evaluate limits without L'Hopital's Rule. That annoyed me.
