The only good one that I can think of is the N64 007 Golden Eye. But there has to be more then that. Can you list some others.

-Batman on the NES
-Star Wars ep 1
-Star Wars Battlefront (not really movie based, but yeah, you get the point)
-the Riddick games
-Spiderman 2
-Dick Tracy on genesis
-Aladdin on SNES

and those are pretty much all I can think of right now =P

For my money, one I loved for a long while was The Spongebob Squarepants Movie: The Game.

It's not the best game ever, it doesn't have David Hasselhoff and only so much feels like the movie, but it's still got:

Jeffrey Tambor as King Neptune
Scarlet "I Don't care what you think, her voice is sexy" Johannson as Mindy
and Alec Baldwin as Dennis.

To get the cast of the movie and have a great game with a lot of fun behind it has to say something about it, and it ain't bad.

Capcom's Disney's Aladdin is a pretty good one too.
and though I haven't played it, the reviews for Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World The Game have been glowing.

The Aladdin game for the SNES was pretty kick ass, though that might be nostalgia talking.

What? No love for Street Fighter: The Movie: The Game?

... wait, are we defining 'good' as a relative to the movie?

We're not? Oops. Umm...

Well in that case I'm going to say the Indiana Jones adventure games by Lucasarts, namely The Last Crusade since it's the one technically off the movie. Fate of Atlantis is also amazing.

The King Kong game. True the voice acting gets a little patchy at points but as it stands it's got a great horror element and it's a much greater example of battling dinosaurs then say, Turok was. It's intense and terrifying because of how vulnerable you are and it even has a few clever mechanics.
Plus when it switched over to the control of the ape can you honestly say you never wanted to play as a giant ape battling dinosaurs with your bare hands.

Golden Eye for the 64? It was good for its time.
Good work on reading the OP there.

OT: The only ones I can think of right now would be the Riddick games, they kicked ass.

Scott Pilgrim, I'm pretty sure it says "the movie, the game" so it counts
The Scott Pilgrim game was based on the comics, not the movie. Everything in it draws from characters and events that take place in the books.

I'm going with none. At least nothing past the Genesis/SNES era. I avoid movie based games like the plague.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. was based on equal parts Tarkovsky's Stalker and the book Stalker was based on, Roadside Picnic. Not a licenced movie game. I can't think of many others that were good. The Sum Of All Fears was OK, but not as good as the Rainbow Six games it was based on.
