The Wickerman- I have only watched the original with Christopher Lee and Edward Woodward, not the remake starring Nicholas Cage. But in the original:

The policeman (played by Woodward) gets burned alive in a giant wicker man as a sacrifice for the harvest, while Lord Summerisle (played by Christopher Lee) chant: The song they sing is Summer is a comin' in I believe. I found it a very eerie and unsettling scene. Also at one point in the film Christopher Lee is in drag which is even more unsettling if possible.

A brilliant film. I can't comment on the remake.

I can. It is terrible. The only thing they have in common is the title.
