Same here. I'm currently considering trying to read Lord of the Rings again. Every time, without fail, I'll get about halfway through Two Towers and completely lose interest. It really hurts, because I know there's a good story in there, it's just buried underneath page-long descriptions of every leaf of every tree in the forest.Aby_Z said:I read. Books. I feel your pain on that. I tried reading the first book but simply couldn't. There was just too much singing. I nearly got to the end of the book too, but I just had to set it down and never came back.D-Mic said:Same here. I'm currently considering trying to read Lord of the Rings again. I'll walk around town, write and listen to music, write stories that only I will ever read, and draw drawings that only I will ever see.
I am the EXACT same way, I have tried to read The Return of the King no less than four times and EVERY time I don't even get halfway before giving up. I haven't even seen the movie...D-Mic said:Same here. I'm currently considering trying to read Lord of the Rings again. Not electricity, electronics. As in, things with computer chips. So cooking without a microwave, using lights, driving a vehicle (usually), and my favorite, experimenting, are all okay.RatRace123 said:You can do things that don't involve electricity? The very thought!
