I really don't care for younger girls
EDIT: Reason being,If you see a 20 year old with a 65 year old man, then it's just nasty IMO. one of my friends is 18, and he's dating a 12-year old...that's just wrong. I vow to never be a cradle robber!
You might want to tell the police about your friend.
Alternatively, he could tell his friend about the police.
...what would telling his friend about Sting's band accomplish?

Despite my astronomical lack of experience with women I suppose a turn off would be too much make-up.

Career-oriented women.
Really? Meeting women with no life ambitions is a huge turn-off because its a pretty obvious hint that they are a gold-digger. But I do feel that people (both men and women) who only talk about their work and spend all of their time furthering their career can get pretty boring after a while...
Not being career orientated doesn't mean one doesn't have life ambitions.

Plus, non-career ambitions are generally more fun and exciting then ZOMG OFF1C3 PR0M0710N!!11

One thing that really turns me off is if a girl has to be the center of attention. You know what I mean.

Also, I really hate it when girls dance like they're in a rap video. Yuck.

Large breasts, for one.

Another being showing a lot of skin. A third one is most certainly not enjoying the same sort of music as me (There are unfortunately rather few girls these days who would pick Iron Maiden over whatever shit's on the radio these days).
Iron Maiden FTW.

I hate people who think i'm lame and/or nerdy for being a gamer and a girl. It seems like lots of the people i'm around can't understand that I love gaming, so when they make out that its weird its a big turn-off.

Being *****, particular constantly talking about the people they don't like for stupid reasons, but thats something that bothers me in people in general, not just girls to date. An annoying voice could certainly ruin it to.

nothing really, but when my image of someone changes, it can be anything. like when my girlfriend took up smoking. huge turnoff.

also i should add that if she always smoked i'd have had no problem with it. it just changed my image of her, and i didn't like it.

However, being loud, obnoxious, fat and lazy, that is a turn off that I could never overcome.
The sad thing is, I know someone who encapsulates all these negative personality traits, and even more, such as racism, what I can only describe as a form of Social Darwinism (she hates disabled people basically, and thinks they should all be killed), and she wears the same furs frickin' Cruella Deville does. I know when she's coming because I get a headache - that's how loud and obnoxious she is.

Her last name was ironically, after her mother married, changed to "Pretty"... yeah. Now I refuse to accept she has a last name.

She also likes to brag about her sexual "conquests", though it sounds more like she was paid.

Having a can of Red Bull turned you off from her? Wow that's pretty petty.

For me a turn-off would be them not always being a women.
You did say peculiar turn offs. Doesn't that mean they're not easy to explain?
Anyway. Smoking is a big one for me, but also things like clothes... It varies a lot from girl to girl.

If a girl is dumb it is a major turn off for me.

On the other side I find smart girls extremly attractive.

This, I actually prefer a girl who doesn't wear any. Special occasions and such are fine, but in everyday life it's kind of a turn off.

Smoking.

I'm normally quite casual with who I would date, but smoking is a huge turn off.

Sorry - can't think of anything too original right now. :l
You ninja, you.

Yeah, smoking is something that I can't handle.

If I were on a date and she started smoking, I'd either tell her to leave or just stop midsentence and leave.

I discriminate of religious grounds. Not Christian not happening. Of course being Christian I don't do the whole sex outside of marriage thing either.

Other than that let's see, smoking, lack of opinion, gross stupidity, obesitity, trying too hard, centre of attention syndrome, anything remotely sluttly...yeah, I'm quite fussy.

Edit: I feel as though I should put what I am looking for:
"Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised."
Proverbs 31 v 30 on a Wife of a Noble Character. That's what I'm looking for.
