I'd have to say it's either my friend posting at least 3 times a fucking day how much she misses her husband because he's at work. Plus, the only reason they got married is because he knocked her up.

Also my other friend mistaking a Russian accent for a German one...I didn't even know how she got those two confused.

What are some dumb/annoying things you've seen your friends post on Facebook?

Edit: Here's a song that reflects how I feel about some posts on Facebook:

Some dude always posts depressing stuff about how nobody respects him, and about how much everyone hates him. Other posts that annoy me include "the awkward moment when....." and when someone posts "FML" or "I can't be arsed anymore :(" and then when someone asks them what's wrong they reply it doesn't matter. If it doesn't matter don't post it on fucking facebook.

The "95% of you won't repost this" stuff.
Yeah, it's got a good point a lot of the time, but it's also spam, in my opinion.
I'm like "Hey, [friend from school] has a good point there. We shouldn't judge people based on X quality"
Then I see the last part of the paragraph.

The depressing posts.
The uninformed posts about politics.
The horrible spelling and grammar people use.
The posts that are like "I just finushed a WHOOOOLLLEEE BOOK, im sucha nerd :)"
"FML" posts.
Attention whoring status updates.
Last but certainly not least, fucking emoticons.

Nearly everything about Facebook actually.

Oh dear. I do believe I have been beaten to the punch. Ninja'd, as it were.

Yes, I avoided Facebook entirely because it seems a big massive waste of space.

Indeed.

I hate all of the above, but what I hate even more is when trying to start an intelligent discussion with people.
Here's an example: some guy posts this: http://www.damnlol.com/ohh-shes-hot-dammit-1741.html
And my reply is that it's entirely normal for Thailand, as the country has the most transsexuals per capita and the highest number of registered and unregistered surgeons in that business, then the guy with his friend both reply "shut the fuck up we don't care".
Are Facebook users THIS stupid, or is it only aimed at people who don't know jackshit about debating, economics, or have very little culture or knowledge to share and loathe others who do?

1. People who quote songs.
2. People who talk about their lovy-dovy relationships (I'm in high school, so I see those a lot)
3. People who ***** about nothing. (I've been guilty of that before...)
4. Posts with a sad story about bullying or cancer or something and the "many of you won't post this", you're damn right I won't!
5. Posts that I'm tagged in and supposed to play the game (What I mean is, "You're in the Zombie Apocalypse! Look at your list of friends. 1st person is the one who gets infected, 2nd is your sidekick," and so on. I remove those from my wall.
6. Posts that are short or stupid like, "I just got back home from work". It's not the post itself that's bad, but it's the fact that those posts get up to 15 likes.
7. People who "like" when relationships change to single. I'm sure whoever just got out of the relationship isn't so happy about it (or maybe they are, that's not the point)
and 8. People who can't spell or don't use basic grammer. For anyone who thinks I'm being a grammer nazi, here's a cut-and-pasted post from my friend who does this all the time:

just cuz i can
n just cuz im po'd that last spam didnt work
im gonna MURDER uchis notification thing =| >) fear me hubby!

Anything and everything posted onto failbook applies I think, but in a hilariously good way.

I couldn't decide whether or not to be somewhat of a prick when someone I don't know put on one of my friend's walls something along the lines of:

"Just got Red Faction 2, we can play it when you come over."

I really bet he didn't actually buy Red Faction 2.

I tried to avoid the obvious annoying things, and went with something personally annoying.

No, your friends are just stupid. I had an extended debate once on the validity of Columbus day.
Though I don't use it anymore because I find it useless.

OP: "Most of you won't post this"
I know it's already been said two or three times, but usually the "fact" enclosed in the repost is wrong, out of context, or could be better solved by not typing meaningless words and actually doing something.

Ninja'd so damn much.

This guy right here sums it up. I get all of these... Highly annoying.

same things here.
except the penguin murder 'repost this' thing thats hilarious.
and number 6 sounds like bloody twitter.
that and frapes. i hate them, because its literally just some guy going on one other guys account and saying 'i like it up the ass' then liking it as that person.
the person doing it is doing it to the guy who he nearly had gay sex with. insecure much?
EDIT: one of my friends just posted 'happy happy happy :)'
i want to beat her with her keyboard.

Pretty much everything.

There were only, out of the 75 or so friends I had, only probably 20 to 30 that I gave any kind flying fuck about, and probably only 12 that made interesting posts. The rest were a bunch of stupid dumbasses.

Christ, I am really fucking glad I'm no longer a part of Facebook anymore!

There's nothing more irritating that watching some stupid dumbfuck whine on and on, day after day because he left his girlfriend. Well then why don't you open a vein if you're so miserable? Bleh, I hate people who are highly prone to having emotions.

Agreed. Failbook is my only exposure to Facespace idiocy, and I wouldn't want it any other way.

I swear every single female on my friends list has quoted a line form Adele's "Someone Like You" at least three times. And also 'awkward moments status' some of them aren't even awkwatd, more of a mere inconvenience!

Double ninja'd, all the way across the sky... So bright and vivid...

OP: Aside from all of those things,'Likes and Dislikes' is one that always gets me annoyed. Along with the ':L' smile. What the fuck is that anyway?!

All posts except my own. But to be more specific I can list up all the categories on the news feed now.

1. Things that are shared between two people. Like "Had a great time with X today!"
2. Chainmail
3. "How much do you like me, press 1 for friend, 2 for boyfriend/girlfriend etc"
4. Complaining statuses, "I'm so poor I can't even afford pens!"
5. "Miss my boyfriend sooooo much" Especially if I know they have been separated for nothing more than a day.
6. "Vote for me on this link"-statuses.

But mostly I get annoyed by chainmail and things that are between two people. I really don't see the point of announcing who you hang out with and how much you love x friend to your other (on average) 400 'friends'.

Holy balls, a WHOLE book? Those people need to get a LIFE. That was sarcasm, just in case you weren't aware.
