You should watch Darker Than Black it's my favorite anime. Or you should try Soul Eater. Either are pretty good.

If you value your sanity, never EVER even THINK about TOUCHING Neon Genesis: Evangelion.
Sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings (@Cheesepower5), but DON'T DO IT.
Oh pish. Serial Experiments Lain is way worse for one's sanity than Evangelion.

Besides, brain-damage inducing animes are the best animes. ^^

I understand your disliking towards the hours of filler in Naruto and Bleach but I'd still suggest One Piece. That is if you want an Manga/Anime that would last you for a while. It does go all over the place at times but it never seems to get too much. I have a few more that I'd like to suggest as well so if you can be bothered reading...

I'd go with suggesting Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann like someone did before.

From what you listed you probably don't want to watch much Shoujo >_> If you do though, Tokyo Mew Mew isn't bad. Believe it or not, it doesn't have much filler. That said, it is Shoujo. The English dub was never completed, it missed out a few episodes and did the usual thing of twisting the meaning in the translation.

Mai-Hime is another one. It starts as a Harem but it turns epic Shounen by the end.

Rozen Maiden I think would be a good one for you though. Both series and the OVA's are great.

Infinite Stratos is one that I am watching now that I highly recommend. It only has 6 episodes out right now so I don't know how it will turn. I have high hopes. ^^

Serial Experiemts Lain is great. It took a while for me to get my head around it but it is really good.

Durarara is good as well. Set in Ikebukuro, it doesn't have filler but it does leave some questions at the end.

Kannazuki no Miko I really enjoyed even though it is a Yuri. Nothing really wrong with that but I liked it the story a lot.

I have to mention Pokemon as well. The original series was the best I'd suggest watching the first few but leave it when the original party start to leave.

Full Metal Alchemist is a good series. It has the "FMA - Brotherhood" series out as well. I found the first one was great until it left the Manga's story but FMA Brotherhood is following the Manga. I'd say not to bother with the movie.

Fairy Tail is a good Manga. I haven't watched much of the Anime but it seems to be following the Manga pretty well so either is fine.

I also liked The World Only God Knows. I read the Manga but there is an Anime out too.

For a Manga, Mahou Sensei Negima is good. The anime had it's moments but it only did one arch then left it.

I'd just like to point out though that I have a problem with the English dubs. I don't know about you but the tend to ruin the show for me. I watched all of the ones listed above in Japanese but don't know if there is an English dub for the more recent ones. I.e. Rozen Maiden, Durarara, Fairy Tail. Infinite Stratos is still airing in Japan so it is safe to say there isn't one for that.

I like my Anime but my tastes are a little different really... I like most genres but I always have the "ANTI ENGLISH DUB GRRRR". If I think of any others I'll add them here. ^^

There's some great animes I had watched, but only Baccano! comes to mind right now. Great characters and great plot, short (only 13 episodes, 16 with OVAs)and it's violent!

I have a hard time watching anime shows which indulge in self dramatization on Matrix level proportions. Which is to say nearly all of them. When I watch stuff like Naruto my eyes nearly roll out of their fucking sockets from all the pretentiousness. So yeah my list is limited.

Cowboy Bebop was amazing. It was damned near Shakespearean in this person's opinion.
Vampire Hunter D I've always loved; though these are movies a new TV series has been confirmed as being currently in the pipeline.
Great Teacher Onizuka was some of the funniest shit I've ever seen.

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (When they Cry) would be my personal best [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/groups/view/Higurashi-no-Naku-Koro-ni], and certainly a good series [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/editorials/reviews/anime/6503-Anime-Review-Higurashi-When-They-Cry].

Other favourite series I'd fully recommend:
Spice & Wolf [http://www.themanime.org/viewreview.php?id=1055]
Baccano! [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/editorials/reviews/anime/6404-Anime-Review-Baccano]
Monster [http://www.themanime.org/viewreview.php?id=969]
Death Note [http://www.themanime.org/viewreview.php?id=1000]
Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Christo [http://www.themanime.org/viewreview.php?id=864]
Excel Saga [http://www.themanime.org/viewreview.php?id=270]
Berserk [http://www.themanime.org/viewreview.php?id=57]

Tegen Toppa Gurren Lagann turned me from a anime-hater into a more tolerant individual.

It was more awesome than the stories I heard about it.
