I have been thinking, and for a new video for my YouTube I want to make an montage of the best OSTs in video game history. Ones that are epic, upbeat, depressing, or just plain fun to listen to.

Its been in my MP3 playlists at the very least since 2005 if not earlier and ive yet to grow tired of it.

Oldschool wise, Ive always been fond of The Veldt theme as well. It was just so different from most 8bit music of the day.

From two minutes in, it is genuinely the best piece of orchestral music I've ever heard. It's identified as Legion's theme, which is sort of true as that is where Legion appears, but lamentably you don't get that orchestra following you through the game whenever he's on your squad.

Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway Main Theme - This music is movie worthy. It's an incredible piece of music.

Mass Effect 2 The End Run - This track just works, along with much of the music in the Mass Effect universe. This track is just epic.

Mass Effect 2 Normandy Reborn - This is essentially one of the best musical moments I've had in a game. Put it together with the moment this track appears, and it's just absolute epicness.
