I'm a fit young male who doesn't drug abuse or drink alcohol. So I was wondering what are the chances that I will do die in the next year from like a freak accident happening or something along those lines do you reckon? I'm just interested to know if anyone knows the statical odds or someting?

I don't think there can be. There are innumerable ways to die and it's impossible to work it out statistically, not reliably at any rate.

How did you get that number?

Anyway, there are too many factors to get around, many being impossible to measure. So none are that accurate. But who cares? Live life to the fullest and enjoy it.

Do you want me to try and kill you? 75-25

To be honest its just fate, its 100 percent chance of not being killed untill a random bus hit you at mach ten

With a pesimistic attitude like that, sooner than you think.

On a serious note, your chances are probably something like 1 in 5X10^14 provided you don't have a case of genetic problems in the family or lick any eradiated uranium...

short answer, 50/50. you either die sometime next year or you don't. simple.

long answer, why do you even want to know? if someone ran the numbers and found out there was a one in 365 chance of you dying, you'd spend everyday worrying if tomorrow would be the day. you'd waste your life.

it's just best not to think about these things. just find a good game and a comfy chair, and enjoy yourself.

You're not a fit young male.

You're a heroin addicted junkie living in Edinburgh. You like to hold conversations with Sean Connery in your head, and you're completely amoral.

...

If I'm wrong in thinking that you're username is a reference to Trainspotting, then that'll have made no sense whatsoever. Ah well.

Well, anything from 0% to 100%, but if you take a gun with a loaded bullet, it may increase to 100% if you want it so much.

Depends on how "Young" you are.
High School Student?

As long as you stay fit and healthy, I would say your chances of developing a disease are pretty slim. Although Hereditary abnormalities such as: Diabetes, Cancer, etc. Are all free game. However, ALOT of youths die each year, in the United States alone, from Vehicular accidents. You can never be too sure about your odds.

Keep in shape, stay off the drugs and alcohol, and YOU certainly won't be doing yourself in.

You could look at it statistically as a percentage of how many people in your position end up dying in the next couple years... No idea if these data exist.
I'd guess your chances are low.

I now make it my duty to hunt you down and kill you.

I'd say that you have roughly 10 hours to live.

Make them count.
