Xbox Arcade:

'splosion man, its done by the peeps who made The Maw and holy jesus christ on a bicycle it is good and very funny.

Braid, just pure brilliance for a puzzle game.

Also Uno truly the big winner of the Xbox Arcade

Since there is yet to be a full WipeOut title on the PS3, '-HD is the only thing that'll fill that hole.

I'd say Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition on XBox Live.
But then again I have neither an XBox or a Playstation, I'm just a Monkey Island fanboy.
Neither do I, but I know some games on both networks.
For Xbox Live: Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (played it while it was still on PS1, awesome, in it's actual definition of the word)
For PSN: Final Fantasy VII (I know, shameful to some people, but $10 is quite a bargain to some costs I've seen. I know the cost because I go to the Square-Enix site often.)

im hesatent to say Battlefeild 1943, i hate the normal conquest mode but air superiority is preety fun, and it's the only downloadable thing that I've downloaded so far on the PS3, except for some backrounds.

Ikaruga and Castle Crashers are both must-haves. I love bullet hells and side-scrolling beat-em-ups...

As for Braid... meh. [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.110777] Sure, as a piece of art it's great, but it's short and the story is unfufilling.

For an actual game on xbox I'd highly recommend castle crashers, then for a game add-on... Broken Steel all the way. It's the SHIT!

XBL:

Braid, Castle Crashers, Soulcalibur, Battlefield 1943.

(I know some are multi-platform bit these are from my experience as a 360 owner.)

Well, there's always Castle Crashers.

And I think XBLA has Peggle now. Peggle is always good!

PSN release Final Fantasy VII not too long ago.

Considering how long it took for that to happen, this means it's going to be a loooooong wait for Final Fantasy IX.

And when the hell is Sony putting up Legend of Dragoon? I mean, it's their own title!

I'd second this - overly violent, fully difficult side-scrolling goodness. WITH A CHAINSAW. And, after that, some good old Castle Crashers.

As for DLC... the only thing I got was See The Future for Fable II, and I *really* wish I didn't... although the ability to make my annoying dog a husky ALMOST makes up for it :3
