I'd also say that everyone should try Flower on PSN. It's quite a unique experience.
I have trouble with Flower, since every time I play, I'm reminded of the sound of you going "wheeeeeee!" from the video review.

XBL:Castle Crashers, for the love of god every 360 owner should get it (as a side note I still have to get it).

as for PSN:Marvel Vs Capcom 2 (when it's released in a few days)

Splosion Man, even though the Visa card is being an asshole and not letting me get the points I need to download the full 50 levels Single player, and 50 levels multiplayer of pure Splodadaciousness!

i liked the dishwasher, good button mashing insanity.

i never really understood why i could never find anyone who had the dishwasher, i could never find anyone when a searched for a game(well i did find someone without a mic once.), i have a few friends that downloaded the full game but only played it with one of them, and every time i joined a party someone would ask "what's the dishwasher" and i was always the only one who knew.

and dash of destruction, it's about super enhanced cars and robotic dinosaurs, the dinosaurs try to eat the cars while the cars try to deliver some doritos.

N+. Failing at life is always fun with this game.
Marvel vs. Capcom 2 looks amazing, but I might wait till they drop the price to 800 points before snapping it up.

The completely free Blazing Angels 2 demo. They even let you go ONLINE in the demo. ONLINE. IN THE DEMO!! Hours of gameplay right there, and the one mission has extreme replay value. Overall, I LIKE IT!

EDIT: And my new game, that's right MY new game, Pancakes Vs. Waffles. Coming out on the fourteenth of...

XBLA:
- Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition. Absolutely awesome.

- Battlefield 1943. It's extremely fun to play it.

Has for the PSN the only one I know of is Flower. Played it at a friends house for a few minutes and I warmly recommend it.
Having both consoles, I have mostly concentrated on XBLA games as I use my xbox more than my PS3 (until I got MGS4). But I have looked at all of these posts and downloaded Flower based off numberous recomendations. I have to say, I am impressed. Another one for the "games are art" category. I found myself mesmerized for like over and hour playing that thing. My wife is usually sitting next to me when I play anything (she reads or gets on the internet). She eventually looked up and said, "wow, I haven't heard you kill something in a while" (I promply put in MGS4 to apease her). A welcome change form frantic stress inducing games.

I also got Splosion man based off the groups recomendations. Not exactly stress releiving, but an excelent platformer with some silly humor.

I wonder how many of us has bought games from this tread? (Summer drought and all, I needed some new material, thanks all for the recommendations.)
