Rain. Thunder. The ocean. The right songs playing at the right time. Victory.

And a damn fine breakfast.

Honestly, fire. For some odd reason, fire is calming to me. I've even turned a strange car ashtray... thing into an impromptu fire pit.

For a less strange answer, reading is satisfying.

Silence and junk food.

Biggest one though would be that new game smell. You know the one that's only there for a few hours when you first take off the plastic wrapping.

Writing comics on lined paper Harold and George style (cookie for the origin) even though I tend to dislike the end product.

Waking up in the morning and knowing that I can just turn around and sleep some more in my soft sheets of holy fluffyness.

A piece of chocolate.

Turning up the volume of my music.

Simple things. Satisfying.

Running. I never like to miss my afternoon run.
Breathing. Just breathing and feeling it go through my whole body.
And sitting back in my chair with a cup of milky tea.

This. How strange... I even did that thing with the car ashtray, too.

Also, sitting down and watching one or two movies with Bud Spencer and Terrence Hill. Never fails to put me in a good mood (and I mean NEVER, this even managed to cheer me up a few hours after my mom died).

I don't drink.
Doesn't matter.
That's how the song goes.
I dont remember quoting a song.
Search for "Escape (The Pina Colada Song)" by Rupert Holmes on youtube or something...

As for me, I like a completely quiet house, where I can enjoy a book without all the normal distractions that come with noise...
