Babies and young kids in general. Can't stand them, they are so noisy and annoying, crying all the time. The worst part of it is that a lot of my relatives have had children recently, but I just can't tell them "I don't want to be around your kid because I don't like kids. Get that thing away from me." It would be too rude and hurtful, so I just pretend to enjoy being around them, but it takes a lot of work.

While I don't exactly pretend to like it, I try to keep my opinion regarding not liking Doctor Who to myself. I've watched the show, I sort of see the appeal, and I would never try to take that away from anybody, but I'm just not a fan. It's not for me.

But seeing as how I go to an art college by day and surf the web by night, it's impossible for me not to have Doctor Who love thrown at me constantly. And since I'm sick of having this conversation with people

Me: I'm not really a fan of Doctor Who.
Them: *LE GASP* Well have you even SEEN it!?
Me: Yeah, I've watched quite a bit of it.
Them: Well which Doctor did you watch?
Me: Some of 9, 10, and 11. I admit I liked the 10th best, but not enough to get into the show.
Them: Well then you just don't get it.

I've just decided to stop telling Whovians that I don't enjoy their show. I don't pretend to like it, I'm just tired of being treated like some I'm a horrible nerd/human being for not enjoying the show.

For the record, my favorite show is Community, and this is how conversations go with people I meet who don't like that show

Them: Yeah, I don't really like Community.
Me: Fair enough.
