Is Superman an American hero? I mean how do you define an American hero? One whose heroic for the sake of America or one that's American and is a hero?

If its the latter then do you just go according to citizen ship or what?

Choose two random soldiers and write about them. They don't have to be renowned to be considered heroes, do they?

First of all, it's "Who are two American heroes?"

Secondly, any specific criteria for who you need to choose?

To go with the obvious, George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.

To go with the not so obvious, Colonel Sanders and The guy who made Wendy's.

Audie Murphy is a good candidate. He played himself in a film adaptation of his autobiography - To Hell And Back - and asked some parts to be toned down because the audience wouldn't believe in them otherwise.

Look it up.

Gi Joe and Superman. Captain America.

Superman is an overpowered pussy.
Superman is an illegal alien anyhow so he could never make it as an American hero.

My two suggestions would have to be Martin Luther King Jr. and Thomas Jefferson. I know, King is very much overused and such, but the Civil Rights movement was something of a bit deal. I would add someone from the Suffrage Movement as the second, but for the life of me I just can't think of one. That whole women voting thing must not have been that big a deal...
