My dad's a mechanical engineer, and my mother runs an outpatient clinic.

My Father has been a Physical Therapist, specializing in sports injuries and sports medicine since his twenties. =D
My Mother became an RN and worked hard to become the manager of two senior living facilities. Now she lives a simple life up in the forests of Gualala,CA, with her husband and practices nursing at their local hospital for a few days a week.
My family seems to be stuck in the medical field. My aunt is a Nurse Practitioner, and most of my cousins are nurses. My sister was going to be a nurse as well, but at the last minute she changed her mind and earned a Degree in Mathematics.
I showed an interest in writing and other artistic endeavors, and made sure to tell my parents that was what I wanted to do. They looked at me as if I were losing my mind and biting the heads off of ducks. XD lol
