Nuclear Reactor Design/Engineer, and Medical Radiographer (until injury prevented her from continuing her education, as it would have interfered with her future job).
I know more about the real inner workings of the Nuclear power business than most as a result.
Not terribly useful, but interesting for trivia.

My mom's a teacher (3rd grade, neighborhood teacher to be specific), my dad is a checmical engineer who's been working in environmental compliance (air stuff, specifically, like emissions) for 20 years now.
My mom ((who lives on the other side of the contry)) is unemployed, and lives in a homeless shelter ((her apt burned down)) and my father sells motorcycle part.

Mom - Worked at a home for juvenile delinquents
Dad - Army. First Delta Force, then Green Beret. Don't fuck with my dad. I never had to play those "My Dad could beat up your Dad" games, because everyone knew the truth.
My dad is a software salesman
My mom had my dream job, a help desk person to a private company. She rarely gets any calls, gets paid a good amount and they can't fire her because the company is using 20 year old software no one else knows (and would have to spend a LOT of money and time to upgrade)
My mum used to do some things with art before she got too sick to work. I was never clear on exactly what.
Oh, and I guess she was a chef for a while also. And a construction worker when I was a toddler.
Not sure what my dad does. I think he moves furniture or something. Whatever. I don't really care.
About all I know for sure is that he used to be a builder back when my mum was. I think they worked at the same place.
Dadhysical therapist with 1/3 ownership of his company. He was actually the trainer for the BU (Boston University) Hockey team for a while. Thats pretty cool
Mom:She was a really smart software programmer until she had kids. She did shit for the government, like anti-terrorism stuff. She wont tell me about it. Now shes a support engineer. Intersetingly enough the Army (the one in Afganistan) is one of her clients.
My stepdad is in the Army (I forget what rank--Sergeant Major maybe?) My mom is a respiratory therapist (though she's also studying to be an elementary school teacher).
