I admit to nothing, since I now consider the term 'fan' derogatory.
I enjoy the Dragon Ball franchise, but I hate pretty much everyone else who does, the fans as it were. The morons who fail to understand the concept that all good things must come to an end.

This guy is officially my new best friend. Whether you want to be or not >_>

On topic, top hats, monocles, trilbies, bowler hats (for some bizarre reason), swords, armour, the Medieval period, Romans, general history and/or mythology, Pokemon, The Elder Scrolls, werewolves and 1962 splitscreen Volkswagen camper vans, Lord Vetinari...

...Is about all I can think of at the moment.

As of now?

Pokemon, Final Fantasy 7, Eternal Sonata, Dissidia, Distant Worlds I and II, the Bartiemaeus Trilogy, Muse, Hellsing Ultimate, Yugioh, Yugioh GX, FLCL, Black Butler, and so much more. It's a wonder I don't flunk out.

Hey, I'm (half)British, gotta live up to the stereotype somehow. It's why I got a top hat and made a monocle. And then made a bamboo cane with a pipe-cleaner-based rapier hidden inside it.

In my defense, that last bit was for halloween.

Dislike any of the above, and while I won't rage or anything, you may get a look of vague disapproval. Maybe.
Perhaps even The Evil Eye. That's what I give 'em!

Now that's just going way too far.

I'm cripplingly mild-mannered, yes >_>

Well, just about the entirety of the Touhou series. I know about 75% of the Characters names and music by heart, played all the games, and read a crapload of the Doujin.

I think it's mostly due to som respect to ZUN, he singlehandedly made such a sensational series you just have to appreciate it, even if you dont like the series.

idk, I am usually the kind of person who will listen to an intelligent argument against something even if it's something I hold dear.

I guess I have nothing to contribute :(

Ah, well there's the rub, isn't it? The reason I can't be labeled a fan-anything, except maybe just a fan. I don't go overwhelmingly crazy over things. I just like them. This is something that people seem to confuse, that others may enjoy something without being written off as a fanatic.

Yeah, I'm a fanboy. Here are the things I will make excited noises over, and in what way, in no particular order:
1. Clutch. I own nearly all their music and constantly watch for when they'll be playing within a hundred miles of my house.
2. Warhammer 40,000--everything but the tabletop. I own every Dawn of War game and read 1d4chan for entertainment.
3. Half-Life. Screw you guys, the second game is just as brilliant now as it was seven years ago. Also I made a headcrab zombie costume for Halloween.
4. Coffee. I own an espresso machine, and make educated comparisons of the various local cafes to determine who makes the best cup. Oddly, I'm not actually a caffeine addict. Yet.
5. Mike Mignola. His are the only comics I've bought by the issue, rather than waiting for the paperbacks. AND MY GOD THEY ARE GOOD.
6. And while we're at it, Warren Ellis. I count Transmetropolitan as the greatest piece of literature I've ever read, I follow his webcomic, and said comic's forums are the only forums I bother with, other than the Escapist.

So, judging by my tastes, I am a strange hybrid of hipster and supernerd. ALRIGHT.

Hmmm... not really fanatically about stuff, but I will get worked up over the following: WWII; Second Punic War; Raymond E Feist; the Total War series of games; harpsichord music; the lameness of most of Star Wars produce; political systems; education in the UK... and a couple of other things.
