My main fear would have to be pretty much any animal that could kill me. Or anything that can kill me for that matter.

Heights. That's the big one that I've been working on lately. Used to be that any height of more then ten feet would just wig me out entirely. I would just freeze up and slowly back away from the ledge. Ladders were completely a no go.

I've spent the last couple years trying to hammer that out. I'm still not entirely comfortable around sheer drops but I don't lock up anymore. I just have to distance myself from the experience and roll with it.

There are other fears (I can be a neurotic mess sometimes) but heights was the only one that really crippled me.

Pokemon Lost Silver.

It's been 3-4 days since I saw yamimash play it and I still can't get the fucking thing out of my head.

I am not afraid of heights as I have been in skyscrapers, helicopters, bungee jumped and parachuted. I am afraid of unstable things. I can stand on a cliff and be fine but you put me on a 3 foot tall ladder thats shaky and not stable and I freeze up.

As far as fear of other things. I fear being burned to death. When I was a kid I almost drowned, if I hadn't gotten pulled out of the lake and given CPR I would have died. It wasn't painful that I remember. But I was burned on my leg as a kid pretty bad 2nd degree burns and I can only remember pain and agony from that. It took a long time to heal and my skin is still tight in that area.

As a father I am very afraid of something happening to my son. And to myself to a certain extent as he is only 6 and needs me in his life. My wife his mom wouldn't be able to take care of him by herself due to a chronic illness she has. So if I wasn't there his life would suffer.

Ditto, heights fucking terrify me.

Spiders do get to me, but only if they're giant and too close for comfort, otherwise I'll leave them be. My two real phobias are so weird but completely and utterly petrifying to me:

Old Time Funfairs and Killer Whales.

The dark (Situational. Basically if something else has me freaked out enough, darkness will only exacerbate it. Darkness alone doesnt bother me at all.)

Arachnids/insects/anything that crawls, flies, or otherwise invades my home

Being alone

Heights (Not too bad, but I certainly prefer to not be up somewhere high if I can help it.)

Aliens (I can't even explain this)

Wasps and reflections in the dark. I used to have a mirror in my room as a child and it would give the weirdest reflections, so since then, when it is dark I avoid looking in mirrors or windows, it just creeps me out.

-Bees, wasps, and hornets. Those things are spawns of Satan.
-Being buried alive.
-Being the last man on Earth.
-Being alone in general.
-Being trapped somewhere.
-Heart diseases (such as Arrhythmia, Angina, Irregular heartbeat, ect. I actually felt a little uncomfortable playing Katawa Shoujo because of this)
-Spiders. They're cool, and I like looking at them, I just don't like touching them.

I'm not comfortable with the idea of getting an injection in my eyeball. Other than that, zombies I suppose.

Cancer, ever since my cat got diagnosed and later died because of it, I realized it can happen to anyone including my family, friends, and pets at anytime. It doesn't help the treatment is almost as bad as the disease.

Spiders, but not as much as I used to be.

The ocean or deep water, way too many unknowns out there, and the easy possibility of drowning.

Loneliness, in every sense of the word.

I guess prison would be the main thing. The concept of having your freedom taken away and being locked up in a cell for a significant portion of your life... terrifying to me, and unlike some of those over-the-top deaths that would be horrible, prison has a much higher chance of actually happening. So yeah.

Any kind of imprisonment or willing-less confinement really.
