Don't eat crap, lift weights, and start working cardio into your routine in a few weeks. Don't go to crazy at first, or you'll hurt yourself. Now that my metabolism has slowed down, I can finally put on muscle mass easier. In a few more weeks I should be set to fit into an men's small shirt.Zack Alklazaris said:What can you suggest about a guy whose ultra high metabolism is slowing down and being replaced with a belly bump?
I'm also going to a Folk high school this year. I'm studying art because I thought it might help with my goldsmith education. I'm hoping I'll be able to work as a goldsmith after this year, but it isn't easy to find work.Jonluw said:Hiya escapists.
Pretty simple topic: What are you currently occupied with, and to what ends do you expect this to take you?
I, for example, am currently attending a Folk high school. [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Folk_high_school] Here I study music, mostly by means of playing. I'm also trying to learn how to draw and write on the side.
I've chosen to take a year to study music in an informal (exam and grade free) environment so that I can take some time to develop as a person (particularly socially) and figure out what I want to do with my life while I'm enjoying exercising my creative side instead of my academic side. And, of course, because I like music.
I'm currently thinking of studying physics at a university when I finish my year at the folk high school.
I still don't know what I'd like to be or do when I grow up, so I'm just following my usual mantra of doing what I like to do and living in the moment. I'm sure I'll find some sort of job or something after finishing my education. For the time being, I'm just trying to make sure that my education will be something that I'll enjoy.
So how about you people? What are you up to?
