I managed a 1CC with Douglas Bild in Rushing Beat. I did use save states, and I don't care due to how cheap certain enemies and most bosses are.

V-ISM is busted in Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper, and I love the game for it! You can make some crazy and busted combos with a lot of characters.

Why do the competitive FGC hate this super meter again? None of y'all have a problem with it in Capcom vs. SNK 2. Where it's even more busted and broken no matter which version you're playing.

Just finished my fourth playthrough of Titan Souls and popped by second rarest Platinum, with a completion rate of 2.06%, just behind Fall Guys (1.95%). Neat!

My first impressions of the game were that it was a little rough around the edges for something so demanding in terms of precision, and that the tedium of reanimating and slowly plodding back to the fight only makes things more challenging. These are my parting impressions as well, although you definitely git gud across all the repetition.

I know I should've played more of FF7 Rebirth, but I've had other stuff on my mind, and most recently that's been finding a copy of Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii on sale and playing my first Yakuza/LaD game in a long-ass time. Good to say, kicking ass still feels as good as it ever has, even with Majima's new moveset that I've barely unlocked any of in just the first chapter. Story's relatively light-hearted compared to some of the previous entries, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing either.

Hopefully I actually end up playing more of this than I have of Rebirth, and/or that this gets me back into enjoying Rebirth again sooner. (Though having read the minigame list for this one, that should keep my attention for a while if nothing else, presumably.)

Picked up Death's Door because it's the next game by the studio that made Titan Souls, and happily is often name-dropped next to stuff like Tunic and other indie Zelda-likes. It's all very charming and delightful so far and the level design is remarkable. Gameplaywise it's a bit on the simple side - repetitive combat and very basic puzzling. But the presentation and exploration glues everything together.
