I'm living my life.

Whether the way I'm living it is of any worth or importance is up for debate...

[sub]But the answer is no.[/sub]

I have been trying to find a job for a while now which I finally got one recently. So now I going to work hard for it now and see what build up from there (maybe I get more work hours in the future).

I'm living in cronic pain with no end in sight and with nothing but alcohol to make the day go any faster.

How are you?

I'm having the best start to a year ever :). I got hired as a junior designer for a small indie studio creating an iphone game. Managed to go from first time QA work experience in september to a paid position in january. Life rocks!

Moved into my own flat, i have a vaguely well paid job with something i enjoy, in a sort of a relationship have enough disposable income to just about do what i enjoy doing.

Suddenly fight club feels very real to me the monotony of day to day, could i tell you the difference of what im doing today to what i did last week no.

I am doing well, going a bit through the motions at the moment though. I am making a lot better pay as a police dispatcher than I was working at a convenience store a few years ago. I also moved into a nice new 1 bedroom apartment a couple years ago as well. I just bought a new car finally. So a lot of things in my life have upgraded in the past few years.
I don't see as many of my friends as I used to due to differing schedules, which sucks, but I still see the core 5 or 6. My girlfriend is probably going to be moving in with me shortly as well, so things are going pretty well.
At the moment, I sorta wish I had more money so I could do some of the things I'd like to do. I should probably work on getting out of the comfort zone of my job and apply for another one but that is always tough to do.

I am currently procrastinating revision by writing a web extension. More in the long-term I'm hoping to finish this year of uni, go to my placement, and possibly not finish my final year if I can get a job. And at some point in the very long-term future I'd quite like to do some interesting bioinformatics work & possibly get stuff published.

I plan on becoming a director, someday. An unrealistic goal, you might say, but being a 21 year old aspergers "sufferer" (wish there was a better way to put it) with no prior experience aside from voluntary work (don't ask me how doing a job well and not being paid for it doesn't count), so is every other job I could go for. If I'm to struggle for years to achieve a goal, I better make sure that goal is worth it.

I have no responsibilities and it's great. I play games, I work with fun people on hilarious duties, have great friends and enough money to get by. All I need is to own my own home and find someone who'll suck my dick in the morning and I've pretty much won.

There is really nothing wrong with what you do in life no matter how many people say its a waste. As long as your happy and your not hurting anyone whats the big deal?

My wife and I are both gamers. We go out every now and then, but we honestly hate the outdoors. Its so much more fun just to chill inside.

My life is lonely, and primarily consists of killing time in the hope that something interesting will happen later.

Government Librarian, which on the outside is a wonderful job as it lends massive amounts of security and such, but I don't think I could do this for 25+ years before I retire. So stressing about that, whether to give up the "best job I can get" for something I'd really enjoy, or stay bored and mindless for the security.

Am also moving next week, so that's so not fun.

I'm 28 and single and happy that way, whilst all my cousins are married or have children - except for one, but he's a man and makes double my salary so people don't judge him. So every day I struggle internally as to whether I should feel like a failure due to society's norms because I don't want marriage or children, or be proud because I have a good career, will get the Freedom 55 (if I stay here), and will also be able to travel every year until I retire and buy whatever I want and spend my time the way I want.

I know, the answer is stay single - but society and family pressure judging a career woman is so fucking harsh. I'm made to feel like a failure whenever I answer 'no' to having a boyfriend, being married, or having kids. Everyone looks at you sideways and wonders what's wrong with you.

I know I just need to say "I'm sorry, I couldn't hear you judging me over my free time and disposable income," but society is balls.

What am I doing with my life?

Whatever the hell I want now.

I've done the army thing, i'm married and my kids are growing up. Me and my wife both earn quite a bit of money and are getting ready for extremely early retirement in the next couple of years.

I'm building a career doing something I love and building a relationship with a man I love.

I'll see where that takes me.

Y'know, I keep seeing you around the forums more frequently than ever before.

Or at least. I think it's you. It might be me.
