Ahhh, another useless holiday dreamed up by corporate America.

Better get your kids ready to take candy from strangers and wander the streets at night.
Pretty much every holiday has been blown up to corporatized cash-grabs, but that doesn't make them bad.

I can see that you're also Australian and in my experience, even though it's American it's good, clean fun for the kids being able to get creative with costumes, take a nice walk round the neighbourhood getting to meet the residents and get a few sweets in the process.

Even if you're not very young it's still a good excuse to throw a party or, in my case, a horror film night. And I think there should be more occasions where I can cosplay or see others cosplay, I mean ffs Australia falls short in that respect.

I'm going as a Boomer.
My friends are going as a Smoker, Hunter, my really ripped friend is going to try to and pull off the Tank, Bill, Zoey, Luis, and Francis. We're going to look great this year.

Wow, so much.
In Finland Halloween isn't celebrated that much. There might be a party or so but very few dress up as anything. And if there are parties people tell you like a few days beforehand so you won't have time to get a costume. I have the necessary stuff for a bounty/vampire hunter in my house but I think I'll stick to my Santa Claus outfit if there is a party ^^

I APPROVE!
If I go, I'm going as a version of Snake like I did some years ago:
Best thing about it? People started mimicing me the year after and I gave them a rant. :D

I'm going as a Dark Jedi this year. To Escapism UK: Halloween!

Last year I went as Anonymous.

Where did you get that mask?
It's just a plastic mask I got at a local comic store. They sell them online and in costume shops too. It looks really good and is fairly cheap.

I'm sure they do. Look for a Swedish equivalent of Forbidden Planet or try eBay. They're quite cheap (£5.99 from Forbidden Planet in the UK).
