You know what I mean, what are you really good at? What is your "thing" among your friends? Among my core group of friends, Ryan's the funny one, Torre's the food guy, Kiel's the techy (and by that I mean a hyper-nerd) Matt's the musician, Iain seems to know everything about what's happening on the internet and gaming industry and you get the idea. Mine is creative writing. Come to think of it, that's all I'm really good at. I do it for fun, and in school, my English teacher would be like "OK, today we're going to write stories" and I'd have to restrain myself from going: "FUCK YEAH!!!" People tend to assume I can spell anything. One of my friends heard a word he didn't understand, so he asked me about it. I said "I'm not sure." He actually said "Really? You're the smart one!" I fared the best on the paintball field too, labelled the best shot and people looked to me to organise the barn defence stage. This has been good for my ego.

EDIT: I'm also the mature and stealthy one.
EDIT 2: I'm the "fire guy" too. Whenever we go camping (on the 5 acres land owned by my family), I light the fire and Torre cooks on it. Then we get drunk and stagger off into the woods to play Sardines, and my reputation for being stealthy gets reinforced again.

I'm apparantly the mysterious one, I never talk about myself at all or even tell people where I'm going. Hell, even my friends I've known for 11 years+ still dont know my birthday.

The music enthusiast i suppose. Few bands i haven't heard of, and i've got such a broad taste that i can usually find music for just about any occasion.

I'm the singer, usually.

Or the "Guy who finds new bands for the hell of it" guy. I'm petty good at that.

I'm seen as just 'nice', willing to help out if I can, and generally a good person, I think.

Specifically, I found I have a real talent for explaining technology to the older generation, I've had old ladies emailing their grandchildren half an hour after sitting in front of a computer for the first time, not knowing what a mouse is.

I do the same thing with creative writing. We had a free lesson once, so we were told to write a story. Well, they actually had to prise the paper and pen out of my hand and push me out the door.

Otherwise... politics. I know the current political position of every major country on every other major country, as well as other stuff that would take forever to explain.

I used to be proud of it but as I get older not so much.

I was the "fighty" one.

If any of my friends were in trouble or anybody needed a helping hand with regards to to people problems I sorted it.

Now i'm knocking on a bit and have a family of my own it's not something i'm proud of.

I try and teach my kids that violence isn't always an answer and it's like the biggest hypocritical speach I can think of.

Don't get me wrong I teach my kids self defence and how to handle themselves if the need arises but I do tell them to go all other avenues first which is something I never did.

So yeah, as big an ego as I have and as arrogant I come across i'm highly ashamed of things I used to do.

I'm the person who's best at scaring people. For me this is hilarious, and as a friend, I have a tendency to know when someone's afraid, and (in private, of course) I know exactly how to get them to admit and face it. You might not be able to cure a fear, but admitting you are afraid makes things easier to deal with.

What?
I´m only saying that I´m good with my hands.
Then i guess there's just something wrong with my mind >_>

But the fact you said it like "´handy´" could really get people's minds going. Jus' sayin' :p

That'd be great! You see the shower leaks and the water on the floor is a real nuisance! :D
