The voice in my head: a woman named Cynthia Bourne, originally from Topeka, Kansas, but following her parents' divorce three days after her fifth birthday, went to live in Boston, Massachusetts with her mother. She regularly corresponds with her father, but does so in secret because her mother disapproves of any contact with him, and as such always makes sure to check the mail when she gets back home from school each day so her mother won't discover her father's letters. At 18, she left home to attend school in New York, but dropped out after a year, a fact she kept from her parents for the next three years. During that time, she worked as a receptionist for the law firm of Neadle, Bruford, and Clamme, spending her free time indulging in her hobby of bookbinding. Recently, through a friend at work, she met and started dating Clyde Benton, a painter who collects telescopes and does volunteer work at a children's hospital.

She doesn't tell me to do anything, just talks about her day. I don't mind. She's very nice.

Jeff Buckley's cover of Cohen's Hallelujah. Not as good as the original, but still perfectly fine.

I'm listening to complete silence. My ears are numb after two days of drinking. I can barely hear what I'm thinking.

"Don't Stop Believin'" sung by the cast of Glee. And underneath that I can hear the opening monologue and introductions to Iron Chef, which I'm about to go watch. xD

People of the North Pole, from FFX, coincidentally.
Otherwise I'd be listening to some jazz or swing.
