I've recently been absolutely entranced with Suikoden 2, the game quickly becoming my top RPG! The Suikoden 2 Theme [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWTAAH8S6C4] is a marvelous piece of work I can't get enough of <3

A lot of Dance With The Dead, been big on this retro 80's synth pop lately.

Mixing it up with some It Follows sound track, great movie and soundtrack.

And a little Ghost.

I love these threads! I save them all to my favourites, and have found so much good music through you guys!

My choices:

I was notified about these guys after a friend decided that I sounded a little like him when I spoke. Turns out I actually sounds a little more like Professor Elemental and Mr B the Gentleman Rhymer then SP, but hell... his poetry is just awesome!

I have posted him before... and will keep posting. Haunting beauty to his work, and this is another incredible collaberation with Soundmouse.

I played through the game for the first time in Feb whilst on a military exercise... I have been listening to the soundtrack since! I love it! Not many soundtracks to games with quirky worlds capture that world quite as much as this soundtrack. And Spike in a Rail is the one that captures it the most for me!

Another Hip Hop from off the beaten track. I listen to him a lot a couple of years ago, and remustered my love again recently... I could listen to him for hours!

God I love these girls. I always come back to their music, and I was listening to a playlist featuring female vocals with an indie sound and this track jumped back out at me. It was my favourite when I bought the album a few years ago, and I still love it. Also... Warpaint goes really well in a playlist with Little Dragon, Alunageorge, London Grammar, Chvrches, Birdy, Tove Lo and Disclosure!

Been on a Cybernetika kick recently.

It takes him a while to get any traction; he loves long build-ups, but he really cuts loose around 2:40.

I've recently found a band and a song I didn't know I'd like

Gives me goosebumps

Otherwise it's the same weird fusion of underground hip hop, irish and american folk, with a bit of punk mixed in just for kicks that it usually is.

I'll start with 2 videos from a collaboration album from one band I thought was overrated (Franz Ferdinand) and another band I have never heard of (Sparks). I can not stop listening to this album since I got a month ago.

[snip]
That reminds me I should listen to FFS (sounds a bit like classic Sparks too). If you like that, you should get into Sparks themselves, they have an amazing and diverse discography.
I did check out a few of their videos on Youtube couple of weeks after getting FFS. I have actually seen one of their videos a long time ago. It was part of an online discussion about Hitler-style moustaches.

The store only had 2 Sparks albums. A live album and a "hits" album that didn't have any songs I listened to on Youtube. So, I went with the live album. I liked it. However, it's a stripped down versions of their songs. I'll show you with the video of the song that was inspired by the name of the tour.
