What are you listening to?

I got Gravity Rush a week early and have been playing a lot of it. I am absolutely in love with the sound track, and it's easily one of my favorite game sound tracks this generation. I downloaded the sound track, but I've already ordered a copy of it because I just love it so much.

Though this is my favorite track of them all, love the instrumental version, so damn catchy.

I wash my hands off of Metallica, learning that their music was used to torture prisoners in Guantanamo Bay and James Heartfield (singer) said

but I hear no outrage from these rich SOBs, just "we don't agree, but please continue". I would be absolutely furious if my creations would be used in such manner.
BTW NiN were also used for this purpose, don't know their response.

I still like Metallica though, I still like the music. Lars Ulrich is a complete spaz and the most boring human being alive, on a semi-related note.

I'd imagine if NIN music was being used for that Trent Reznor would be extremely displeased by it. He's not a big fan of that shit, and very politically aware.

Either way I blame the US gov. not the artists. The artists can't really do a damn thing about it, which from the quotes you provided, I think Hetfield was trying to say.

I love NIN btw... I have a day of the week dedicated to listening to it... your wednesday is my ninday xD

Alot of my other metal is british, swedish or finnish and 2 greek bands.
My other music (rock/folk/etc) is from all over the place)

Loving the song thus far it's pretty sweet. There are a few north american metal bands I like; Metallica, Tool, Nine Inch Nails, etc.

I'm still on Tool myself but I've moved on to the 10,000 Days album, it's fitting my mood well, very downplayed and melancholic.

Not to pick at you but the only band you named that is 'metal' is metallica. ( i quite enjoy all of those bands myself however)

Heh, I am watching Scrubs. Its what I do when I feel like crap.

But up till then I was listening to bits of FT's old albums.

Gooooood song. I listen to it when I think about ex-girlfriends and stuff.

I also watch ALL of Scrubs when I feel like crap It's one of the best remedies there is for life kicking you in the teeth.

I watch it whenever I feel like shit. As a result I end up mouthing the words for the first 2 series. Currently on season 6, I started watching last monday. Its been a tough few weeks xD

I actually go all the way through to season 9 if it's that rough, that's only happened twice though xD
