If this wasn't such a horrible case there could be countless jokes about that. When me and my friends discuss where we would send the worst kind of scum if we ever became dictators of the world we usually end up with a padded room where the sound of techno torments them every waking hour. The fact that it has been done actually makes me sad. Also by the worst kind of scum I mean "artists" like Britney Spears and those who make techno.Greni said:I wash my hands off of Metallica, learning that their music was used to torture prisoners in Guantanamo Bay and James Heartfield (singer) said

Really? I enjoyed it, it's not their best song by any means but I think it's good.Just_A_Glitch said:Right now, I'm on a nasty ass metal kick. My latest obsession is Catasexual Urge Motivation.
But, as always, I've been sprinkling in a little Witness to everything.
I really hope that this isn't what most of their next album sounds like. I didn't really like any of this.Kenbo Slice said:
New PTV, and it rocks.
I'd call Tool metal, a different kind of metal to Metallica but metal none the less. Nine Inch Nails I'll concede some ground on though it's hard to slap a genre on NIN.Imthatguy said:Not to pick at you but the only band you named that is 'metal' is metallica. ( i quite enjoy all of those bands myself however)SkarKrow said:Loving the song thus far it's pretty sweet. There are a few north american metal bands I like; Metallica, Tool, Nine Inch Nails, etc.
I'm still on Tool myself but I've moved on to the 10,000 Days album, it's fitting my mood well, very downplayed and melancholic.
Anyway Death - Crystal Mountain http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h8g5QsT-RSw
Also why wouldn't they use something like black metal where the musicians would be proud to know their music was used for torture?

Before Odin and Thor there was War.
The chorus grew a little on me after a few more listens, but it's too screamy for me (which is an odd thing for me to say). Neither Kellin Quinn nor Vic Fuentes are exceptionally great screamers. Their appeal, at least for me, comes from the clean vocals, and this was just too scream heavy (at least for a PTV song, in my opinion).Kenbo Slice said:Really?
