I've got Mass Effect 2 on the go, but it's on back-burner due to exams. It sucks to get halfway through a game and not be able to pick it up for 2 weeks...

Also got All Quiet on the Western Front being read at the mo'. It's very good!

Playing brink, and really enjoying it. Sure, there are a few things that majorly annoy me, like the AI, xbox live players aversion to teamwork, lag and the fact that tge only matchmaking search options are "my rank" or "my rank or higher", but i have faith that this will be patched soon, and even with the issues, i'm loving it. Screw you, lieGN.

I'm reading resident evil: city of the dead, a novelisation of resi two. It's actually really good, the author, SD perry deserves more recognition.

Well I was only playing the Gears 3 beta so I could get the golden retro lancer... now I have it, but I'm still going to play it until it's done because I want to only play LA Noir when it comes out and have no distractions.

Oh, and reading as well... I just finished reading Coming Up for Air by George Orwell (It was fantastic. A nice change of tone from 1984 or Animal Farm with a lot of Candide-esque humor.) so I'm probably going to start working on Everything is Illuminated by Jonathan Safran Foer. Definitely going to read more Orwell over the summer, though.

I also forgot to mention... I was planning on reading Contact by Carl Sagan because Contact is one of my favorite movies... I've never read anything by him before even though I've heard a lot about him... can anyone give me a recommendation?

I'm not playing too much at the moment... L.A. Noire will take up my time starting early next week, but for now I'm kind of bumbling through my catalogue of games and bemoaning the fact that PSN is down (if it weren't, I'd have finally gotten around to playing more of Demon's Souls).

I've got Call of Duty 4 in my PS3 and Okami in my PS2, so I've been playing both of those. Also, for what I'm reading, I'm trying to finally finish The Fountainhead, which I've been working at for longer than what is probably reasonable, even for such an extremely long book.

Just finished Mass Effect 2. Was going to go back to Mass Effect 1 and make Alien-hating Male Shepard, but I uninstalled it and lent my friend the disk. So ill have to shake him down for it tomorrow. Might finish Bioshock or play Persona 4.

Im reading The Republic by Plato right now. Cant say im impressed as far. Everyone but Socrates is either a yesman or someone who argues clumsily simply for Socrates to argue circles around him. Theyre only there to push Plato's idea of his Republic, rather than arguing the questionable morality of it. Hopefully it gets better.

I found the cave allegory profound and thoroughly relevant. Never read the rest, though.
