I'm playing Fallout 3 for the forth or fifth time, and reading Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami and A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess.

Im currently playing around with the Orange Box again.

Reading 'Death by Black Hole' by Neil deGrasse Tyson. Previously read 'The Mist' - Stephen King after I learned it was a large part of the inspiration for Half-Life. So that's probably why Im on the Half-Life 2/Valve trip again.

I'm playing Deus Ex more than anything else at the moment, getting myself ramped up for Human Revolution.

Reading a Discworld book, specifically Reaper Man.

Also, an awful lot of people reading A Song of Ice and Fire at the moment it seems. Martin must be making a fortune at the moment. I read the first book a couple of years back, never did get around to book 2.

Bad Company 2 that i got on a steam sale.

Hope you're not one of those noobs who doesn't know how to play the recon class properly and run around like it's COD

Only started playing yesterday, i've tried all the classes and i can't really get a good feel for being Recon, so i'm mostly playing assault.

I am currently playing Portal 2 mixed with Mortal Kombat 9, back and forth between the two, and I must say I love them both.
As for books, I've been reading random works of H.P. Lovecraft (By random, I mean I just read whichever stories sound good to me at the moment). He wins 2 awards from me:

#1 is for actually understanding that what you see isn't as scary as what you don't, and being purposefully vague in descriptions allowing readers to draw from their own fears to mentally render the eldritch beasts and cities at hand.

#2 is for having one of the greatest poker faces of all time.

also, he gets the award for being a racist prick.

GASP! A racist in the early 1900's? WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT?!?!?

Seriously get a grip, complain about people being racist when H. P. Lovecraft lived is entirely pointless.

If you're gonna call him a prick for being racist, then you might as well call EVERYONE back then pricks.

Well what's racist is racist. You can't help but lol when you discover that his cat was named, "******-Man," both in IRL and in his stories.

All that means is the fact that he was kinda a racist prick is completely understandable. Much like how if you were a impoverished serf in the dark ages, you would likely be uneducated. The fact that it is not your fault doesn't make you less uneducated. I hardley think you can say that he was being terribly critical of Lovecraft for being a bit racist. He was generally quite positive on Lovecraft, and his racism was just a side note.

Currently playing Crysis 2 (Portal 2 interrupted my playing of Crysis 2 in much the same way Crysis 2 interrupted my playing of Bulletstorm) mixed with the Developer commentary of Portal 2 and random rounds of Mortal Kombat. I'm reading "Wise Mans Fear" (Well, listening to the audiobook) which interrupted my reading of, "The City and the City".

I think I need to focus my media attention.
