Just finished playing the Torchlight demo on Steam and thinking whether to buy it or not. I'm really considering it but I need a bit more motivation, anyone have any opinions if I should get it or not, I'm open to them.

Not playin much atm- I'm waiting for something new and juicy to play, having finished Portal 2.
I just finished Anthony Horowitz's last Alex Rider book and I rather enjoyed it. He took a lot of risks with some of they plot points... but they paid off. Very good book.

I've also been reading a friend's first draft of a story. Its also good. Lots of good description, interesting dialogue, a fun plot. Although his spelling is awful. Really awful.

Edit; Anyone read Dune or the Silmarillion? I've been looking for new books and I thought of those. Is Dune as good as its cracked up to be? And just how hard is it to get through the Silmarillion?
