What are you Playing now? and What you think of it?

Was playing Bad Company 2 which I bit the bullet and bought as I managed to find it quite cheap. Wasn't my kind of game. They shouldn't have even bothered with the 1 player mode, as it's the most linear 1 player FPS since I played Quake 4 many, many moons ago. Most of the time I didn't know what enemies had killed me, the locations were too built up so I was getting stuck places or not knowing where I was, you couldn't explore very far or find many alternate routes ala Far Cry 1 or 2, stupid AI that would just run straight past me, friendly AI were programmed to do the same actions.

Meh...

Online is fun, but not fun enough. Have just sold the copy and am going back to Quake Live.

Transformers war for cybertron. It's short and you can tell the single player mode plays second fiddle to the multiplayer but its extreamly well written and acted. The bosses are nice and challenging to for a change.

I'm currently on a little retro trip and right now I'm playing me some Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. So far it's pretty good, although there are some very gimmicky levels that just play terribly (I'm looking at you, random speedbike stage). Overall though it's quite fun, and any game where you get to build your own lightsaber gets a lot of points by defult.

If so, could you tell me how you managed to get to computer heaven?

I'm running it on dx9 with the general videos setting on max. Had to switch off the advanced physics engine, so I don't even know what that one does. To leave dx9 means to make it look even more stunning, but the game is unplayable then. Least for me.

Though.. it's beautiful as it is now, so /shrug

It does look bloody nice. I'm always running it with DX10, but it still looks brilliant. I think I've got PhysX on max too, but I'm not sure. When I started that game on Max everytihng, I was just like "Shit man!".

mostly neverwinter nights 1 (replaying OC, SoU and HotU) on pc, and Singularity on ps3.
finished singularity 3x to get all trophies in a week, and am currently grinding online trophies. usually i like trophies but not enough to go for a 100%..but in this game? fuck yeah (H)

I've been playing Saints Row 2 a lot recently. I have been doing the spray the crap on stuff missions practically non stop.

any way...yeah i played that but then i got bored of firing crap at people for the fun of it lol so at the moment I'm playing gta 4 add-ons I've started on lost and damned and thank god the bikes are easier to drive seriously really couldnt be arsed if it was going to be like driving in gta 4

I'm playing Assassins Creed 2 and I'm wishing that the money system had more of a point, because if it did, the game would be nearly perfect.

Playin GTAiv! Had it ages just just couldn't get into it! Was boring early on and the driving was sooo tedius.

But after sticking with it I actually like it now. The story is great and the driving doesn't bother me anymore. Glad I gave it another try!
