I'm actually replaying Max Payne, so when I go to watch the movie at the cinema with my friends, I can ruin their fun by pointing out everything and shouting "that wasn't in the game!" Ad infinitum.

Well, they did it to me with LOTR. I refuse to sit and read a trilogy of books that long. I don't care if the movies didn't accurately represent all the characters. THAT'S RIGHT JAMES. I DON'T FUCKING CARE.

hahaha... that was one of the more awesome things I've read recently here.. I don't blame you.. I tried to read the books prior to seeing the movie.. I mean, I had 3 years to do it.

Managed to do it for the first one.. didn't care for the book.. JUST managed to do it for the second one.. LOVED that book for some reason

could never get through the third book.. so I enjoyed the movie as a movie and bravo

GTA: San Andreas, currently stuck at the third flying lesson which is a right pain in the arse because I'm stuck with using a keyboard to fly and the plane (is it me or is it a P-51?) is more sensitive than racist jokes, so a slight bank to line up for the second(!) (never even got past the third) corona turns into a wild spin into the wide blue yonder. AAAARGH

Probably gonna play some MechCommander 2 now instead, which also made me go AAAARGH when it crashed right after two unsaved missions that went exceptionally well.
